Mark joined the company in 2016, and brings more than 20 years of progressive cross-industry IT leadership to the role. He oversees engineers at Netsurion, EventTracker’s parent company, who build, manage, and monitor the company’s internal systems and technology. He most recently served as CTO of Swiss Watch International, following management roles at AOL, Chico’s FAS, Winn-Dixie, and Luxottica Retail. Throughout his corporate IT career, he has led significant business and technology transformation projects, including multi-year enterprise resource planning programs (SAP, Oracle, NSB) and e-commerce platform initiatives (IBM WCS, ATG, Magento). He has also directed large-scale POS implementations, business intelligence installations, and infrastructure migration programs. After honorably serving his country for 20+ years, Mark retired from the military in 2016. His military career spanned 5 years in the Air Force as a Chinese Linguist Cryptographer; and included over 16 additional years in the Coast Guard Reserve as a Commissioned Officer from which he retired with the rank of Lieutenant Commander (LCDR/O4). Mark received a Bachelor of Science from Excelsior College in 1998; completed Reserve Officer Candidate Indoctrination at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy; and graduated from the Defense Language Institute, Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC) with an Intermediate Certification in Mandarin Chinese.

Jagat is a co-founder of EventTracker and provides technology direction for the company. He conceived and authored the original implementation of the Change Management component of the EventTracker software – a component that allows users to monitor, analyze and recover from changes within the network. He is an expert in the area of security event correlation and best practices for SIEM. With an IT career spanning more than 25 years, Jagat has experienced all aspects of the product life cycle, from development to operations. Previous positions include Digital Equipment Corporation and Boeing where he led a team to define security models for Windows, Database and Unix in large and medium enterprises. Jagat holds an MS in Computer Science from Boston University.

He brings significant experience leading national and global sales organizations in data security, backup, cloud hosting, and datacenter outsourcing. From 2001 to 2011, Mark worked at Symantec Corporation, where he was responsible for leading all aspects of the SMB and mid-market business units in North America. At Symantec, Mark was a member of the strategic leadership council, an internal strategy think tank, as well as responsible for driving over $400,000,000 in annual revenue through both direct sales, as well as indirect channel partnerships. In 2012, Mark joined a global hosting company, Connectria Hosting, where he led global sales and was responsible for driving significant growth in sales and revenue during his tenure. Mark received a Bachelor of Science in accountancy, computer science from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1990.
