Responsibilities:
Manages the planning, coordinating and implementing of some or all retail operations of the Park, ensuring compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, regulations and standards of quality and safety. Positively develops all Park associates and promotes division goals on a daily basis. Must be self-motivated, driven and have excellent initiative.
Supervises seasonal staff, including instructing, assigning, reviewing and planning work of others, maintaining high standards, coordinating activities, hiring and placement, acting on associates problems, recommending and approving associate promotions, transfers, scheduling and discipline and recommending discharge. Encourages a safe, respectful and pleasant work environment. Focuses on coaching and developing a team for long term to increase overall associate retention.
Develops, implements and evaluates quality assurance measures. Maintains the highest retail location standards and relocates and/or purchases products as needed to increase profitability. Creates and teaches visual display techniques following established and frequently trend driven visual presentation guidelines. Coordinates and oversees locations set-up before Park opening, including counting in received products, moving fixtures and products, visual merchandising and coordinating product programs. Recognizes and quickly reacts to current retail trends. Reviews department policies and procedures on a continuous basis, making specific recommendations to improve service and efficiency.
Achieves financial goals through preparation and adherence to labor and revenue budgets and multiple expense accounts for all retail locations in the Park. Prepares monthly and quarterly financial and inventory reprojections, monitors and adjusts expenditures as needed. Creates, receives and reviews various records and reports including expenses, revenue, cash variance, labor dollars and hours, hiring levels, purchase orders, sales, schedules and inspection reports.
Formulates, submits and implements pricing strategies by reviewing sales and revenue performance; determining additional needed sales promotions and closely monitoring inventory levels, product turnover and profit margin.
Interacts and communicates with various groups and individuals such as immediate supervisor, other Park managers and staff, subordinates, consultants, counterparts etc. Prepares and delivers regular professional quality presentations to review past performance and deliver planned strategy for the future.
Adheres to and enforces all Carowinds policies and procedures, including safety, appearance, attendance and EEO policies, and demonstrates a commitment to guest service in all aspects of employment.

Qualifications:
3 to 5 years related experience in large scale retail operations management.
Amusement park, or similar operational experience, preferred.
Ability to pass a mandatory or random drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state or provincial law.
Ability to pass a background check, which may include, but is not limited to, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education, and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
Excels in a fast paced changing environment.
Understanding of federal, state and local labor laws.
Knowledge of related accounting procedures, profit/loss statements, general ledger, and point of sales systems.

Manages the associates responsible for the general operating maintenance and repair of the buildings and grounds to maintain proper care of the assigned community(s) in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards/regulations and company policies.
* Supervises the community maintenance, housekeeping and laundry (if applicable) staff, to include hiring, training, evaluating performance, resolving disciplinary issues and firing.

* Reviews safety data sheets (SDS) as requested for potential exposure to hazardous chemicals used and take necessary precautions.

Overview
As a Ticket Seller Supervisor, you will oversee the ticketing operations for various events, ensuring smooth and efficient processes while providing exceptional customer service. Your role will involve managing ticket sellers, resolving issues, helping with customer escalation, and maintaining accurate records. Responsibilities
Supervise Ticketing Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the Call Center and/or event ticketing team, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
Under administrative direction, manages the community's budget and financial operations.
Manages the forecasting, analysis, and reconciliation of the annual budget process for assigned community(s). Distributes and communicates corporate templates and information requests from corporate to department heads, and meets to obtain and discuss budget proposals for the coming year. Applies financial models, evaluates forecasted numbers, and obtains explanations and justifications from department heads relating to significant increases and decreases from previous periods. Partners with department heads to scrutinize planning based upon prior activity, occupancy levels, financial models, etc. Conducts cost/benefit analysis for proposed spending.
Incorporates corporate NOI expectations into budget planning. Identifies and discusses potential enhancements and obstacles in meeting expected numbers.
Meets with Executive Director (ED) to discuss and resolve budget issues concerning departments' forecasting and planned spending. Presents issues and organizes meetings with ED and department heads to formulate analysis and confirm facts.
Critically reviews capital expense requests (CER). Discusses justifications and priorities with department heads and Executive Director. Follows corporate purchasing guidelines and tracks approved capital spending. Finalizes numbers with ED and prepares Power Point presentation for Business Plan Review with guidance from ED. Provides justifications and effectively communicates needs.
Communicates finalized budget numbers to department heads and educates regarding meaning.
Monitors budget expenses throughout the year. Routinely distributes reports and meets with Department heads to discuss financial performance and ensure integrity of data. Reconciles plan variances. Provides solutions and suggests corrective financial and operational action to department heads and ED. Alerts ED regarding anticipated difficulties in meeting NOI targets. Obtains ED's directives regarding budget and operational changes and incorporates into budget.
Prepares and supervises the preparation of routine and specially requested statistical and financial reports and analysis for review by ED. Identifies and presents trend lines and projections relating to income and expenses. Reconciles accounts and interprets results.
Submits monthly and quarterly food service, central supply, housekeeping inventory reports to corporate office. Routinely monitors inventories of supplies. Conducts cost/benefit analysis for current and proposed resources. Analyzes buy versus lease decisions equipment. Audits cash handling and purchasing/bid processes to ensure compliance, to assess credibility of vendors, and to conduct proper analysis of bids.
Supervises Business Office staff and operations in the processing of payroll, invoices and receipt of payments from residents. Ensures that corporate policies and procedures relating to cash, accounting, collections, purchasing, budget and payroll are followed to maintain SOX compliance.
Proactively manages DSO rates and follows collection procedures to obtain payments and reduce DSO. Reconciles resident accounts and informs ED regarding residents behind in fee payments. Reviews aging of accounts receivables and recommends bad debt write-offs.
Prepares and posts notifications to residents regarding rate increases as approved by corporate office. Routinely posts and calculates interest payments for resident's security deposits. Requests security deposit refunds for departing residents. Reviews other credits for residents and approves refunds as appropriate.
Upon request, may provide financial information relating to expansion and renovations in community. Assists with financial studies and projections as it may relate to the profitability of expanded services. May assist ED regarding coordination of construction phases with operational requirements.

Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting, management, business, or related field; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Minimum of five years of progressive accounting experience for an operations center within a large multi-facility corporation. Prior experience in the health care industry and professional certifications are preferred. Prior supervisory experience is a plus.
Communities with Skilled Nursing Facilities:
Additional 2 years of accounting experience that includes Medicare processing and rules and regulations.
Communities with Entry Fees:
Prior experience that includes extensive knowledge of the financial implications and the state insurance rules and regulations governing Entry Fee communities and similar arrangements.

Manages the associates responsible for the general operating maintenance and repair of the buildings and grounds to maintain proper care of the assigned community(s) in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards/regulations and company policies.
* Supervises the community maintenance, housekeeping and laundry (if applicable) staff, to include hiring, training, evaluating performance, resolving disciplinary issues and firing.
* Directs workers engaged in the maintenance and upkeep of the interior and exterior of the community. Inspects completed work for conformance to standards and policies.
* Oversees scheduled maintenance on: H.V.A.C., elevator, fire and sprinkler equipment, generator, landscape, kitchen equipment, and emergency pull cord equipment.
* Coordinates maintenance requests by residents for items needing repair in their rooms, including repairing plumbing, electrical, heating and replacing light bulbs.
* Oversees repairs and maintenance of buildings including vacated rooms in a timely manner. This includes painting walls and cleaning carpets.
* Ensures walls, floor coverings, doors, and woodwork in the common areas of the community are properly maintained.
* Maintains positive communication with local fire Marshall, building inspector, state elevator inspector, and any other jurisdictions governing the community.

Responsibilities:

About the Venue
The Greensboro Coliseum Complex is a versatile multi-building facility that serves the community of Greensboro and its surrounding areas. It hosts a wide array of events, such as athletic competitions, cultural arts showcases, concerts, theater performances, educational activities, fairs, exhibits, as well as public and private gatherings, including conventions, convocations, trade shows, and consumer shows. It plays a crucial role as a hub of community activities and significantly contributes to the regional economy. The Complex is made up of nine venues, the largest being the renowned 22,000-seat First Horizon Coliseum, which has a storied history of hosting prestigious ACC and NCAA basketball championships, and a concert history featuring legendary artists like Paul McCartney, Garth Brooks, and Elvis Presley, as well as today's biggest artists like Drake, Bad Bunny, and Taylor Swift.
The Complex also includes the 167,000-square foot Special Events Center, encompassing three exhibition halls, a 4,500-seat mini-arena, and eight meeting rooms. Additionally, there is the White Oak Amphitheatre, Piedmont Hall, the Novant Health Fieldhouse, Greensboro Aquatic Center, The Terrace, ACC Hall of Champions, and the 300-seat Odeon Theatre. Responsibilities
Supervise Guest Services Operations: Lead and manage a team of guest services staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure smooth operations.
Team Management: Schedule shifts, assign duties, and monitor performance to ensure optimal staffing levels and adherence to protocols.
Event Coordination: Coordinate with event organizers to understand entry requirements, seating arrangements, and any special instructions.
Staff Training: Train guest services on ticket verification procedures, customer service standards, and venue layouts to ensure they are well-prepared for their roles.
Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections to ensure ticket takers are following procedures accurately and providing excellent customer service.
Problem Resolution: Handle escalated issues and complaints, resolving conflicts and addressing guest concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Communication: Maintain open communication channels with event organizers, security personnel, and other staff members to facilitate smooth operations.
Safety and Security: Ensure compliance with safety protocols and emergency procedures, and promptly address any security concerns or incidents.
Training and Development: Identify training needs and opportunities for professional development among ticket takers, providing coaching and feedback as needed.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of ticketing activities, attendance figures, and any incidents or issues encountered during events.
Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, customer satisfaction, and overall guest experience.
Adherence to Policies: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations governing ticketing operations.
Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
1 to 3 years of related experience in customer services.
At least 1 year of Supervisor experience.
Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to handle stressful situations.
Previous experience in a customer service-based industry is preferred.
Previous experience within a sports, entertainment, or related field is preferred.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends, nights and holidays required.
Extensive time spent with moderate to loud noises.
Frequent bending, standing for long periods of time and walking of the building.
