Job Description:
The UPS Sustainability Team is responsible for developing the strategy of and executing initiatives to enable the decarbonization of UPS' global operations. The team works cross-functionally to design and execute greenhouse gas reduction solutions across all business units and modes of transportation, as well as to design customer-facing sustainable logistic products. We leverage the power of data to manage and measure the progress of our initiatives, meet voluntary and regulatory disclosures, and enable analysis to make sound, financially prudent recommendations. This role will focus on measuring and validating carbon emissions, supporting decarbonization initiatives, and aiding in the development and implementation of sustainable transportation solutions for our customers. Key Roles and Responsibilities include:
Support the collection, validation, and reporting of sustainability data, ensuring compliance with relevant voluntary and regulatory standards, including but not limited to CSRD, CSDDD, SEC, and ISSB.
Support the evaluation of data and system controls, working with data source owners to design, document, and implement controls throughout the sustainability reporting process.
Support the development, testing, and review of reports to track the impact of decarbonization initiatives and progress towards organizational sustainability goals.
Work with stakeholders to document, test, and validate sustainability data, and support collaboration with internal and external auditors during assurance processes.
Support the research and development of analyses to uncover opportunities, mitigate risk, and guide our strategy and decision making for the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
Support the development of roadmaps, business cases, and execution of cross-functional initiatives to reduce UPS' greenhouse gas emissions.

Your Responsibilities

Education & Experience
At the commencement of the Tradewell Fellowship, the applicant must hold at least an NAAB, CACB, or NAAB substantially equivalent accredited first professional degree in Architecture.
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US for the contiguous 12-month period. The Tradewell Fellowship typically follows a June-to-June cycle. However, there is some flexibility for those who need to begin in May or July. Knowledge of Revit and 3D software is preferred. Effective communication, organization, and presentation skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging work environment are necessary. Prior internship experience is preferred.
Understanding LEED principles is a plus.

**Pay Range:**
- Locations in CO, HI, IL, MD & Various CA, NJ Areas-$66,800.00 - $93,500.00 Annually

The Simulation and Safety Fellowship is based out of the Children's Simulation Center as well as the Department of Pediatrics. This is a non- ACGME accredited research fellowship. The goal of the Simulation and patient Safety Fellowship is to provide exceptional training in the fundamentals of designing and delivering medical simulations, performing simulation based clinical systems testing, following up on changes made from system testing. All fellows will receive broad-based training in simulation and patient safety, receive a reading list of key articles, and a scholarship oversight committee that will include experts from around the country to help steer their research or educational project.

Fellow is expected to:
+ Be present for 75% Simulation core team meetings

This line of research aims to connect information economics, machine learning algorithms, and market design, to address practical concerns in decentralized data governance, trustworthy machine learning, and platform strategy.

THE ROLE
The Literacy Fellow role is a high-impact, early-career pathway designed to build deep expertise in the science of reading. Fellows receive intensive, research-based training that prepares them to support scholars from their first day in the classroom. In the first six months, Fellows complete both LETRS and Orton-Gillingham training, gaining the knowledge and tools needed to deliver explicit foundational skills instruction and high-quality intervention.
In the second year, Fellows step into co-teacher roles and work alongside experienced lead teachers who model strong instructional practices. Fellows apply their training through daily small-group instruction, targeted intervention, and shared responsibility for delivering rigorous, joyful reading lessons. Fellows may also choose to enroll in Relay Graduate School of Education to earn a Masters degree while continuing to build their craft.
This two-school year Fellowship builds a pipeline of highly skilled literacy educators who are grounded in structured literacy, responsive intervention, and the instructional systems that drive strong reading outcomes.
THE PERSON
As a Literacy Fellow, you will:
Support lead teachers in delivering high-quality, small-group reading instruction and intervention during the school day for scholars in Grades 24.
Plan and implement targeted literacy lessons under the guidance of the lead teacher and instructional coach.
Use data to inform instruction, track scholar progress, and adjust support to ensure measurable growth.
Build strong relationships with scholars and families to create a joyful, inclusive learning environment.
Reinforce school-wide systems for scholar engagement, behavior, and academic excellence.
Collaborate closely with instructional teams to ensure alignment between Tier-1 instruction and small-group intervention.
Participate in ongoing professional development and coaching, including training in the Science of Reading and Orton-Gillingham practices.
Demonstrate a growth mindset and commitment to developing the instructional skills necessary to advance into a Co-Teacher role the following year.

Prior Experience
Bachelors degree preferred (Education, Early Childhood, or related field preferred; progress toward certification accepted).

Transition to a Co-Teacher role requires demonstrated instructional skill, growth mindset, reliability, and strong collaboration following successful completion of LETRS and OG training.

**Minimum Required Qualifications:** Four units of Clinical Pastoral Education in a program credentialed by ACPE. Development and integration of communication protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, IEC 61850, or Ethernet-based standards to facilitate seamless interaction with supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems and grid interfaces.
Design and optimization of embedded software for low-latency execution, resource efficiency, and robustness in high-power environments, using languages like C/C++ or assembly.
Conduct code reviews, debugging, and performance profiling to identify and resolve issues in real-time control loops and interrupt handling.
Establish process for Devops
Develop standards for software documentation, including code comments, architecture diagrams, and user manuals.
Support internal audits with the quality department and enforce adherence to documented policies and procedures to uphold quality of designs.
Stay current with advancements in control technologies for power system, embedded technologies, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and cybersecurity practices for power system applications.
Consult on all aspects of ongoing projects as applicable to the multiconverter technologies product lines.
Provide ongoing, strategic guidance for long-term success of the business.
Help identify market needs and develop value propositions. Attend industry functions representing Southern States. Help define the division strategy.
Provide a vital role in developing and maintaining a robust product and technology roadmap.
Minimum Qualifications:
PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
At least 20 years of professional experience in control systems design, preferably in power electronic converter control.
At least 7 years of professional experience in the design of multilevel converter-based systems or grid-connected inverters in renewable energy applications.
Proven expertise in developing control algorithms for voltage and reactive power management, with hands-on experience in PI controllers, MPC, or similar methods.
Proven expertise in programming microcontrollers (e.g., ARM Cortex-M) and DSPs (e.g., TMS320 series) for real-time applications.
Strong proficiency in simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, PSCAD, or equivalent for modeling dynamic systems and fault scenarios.
Solid understanding of power system dynamics, stability analysis, and multilevel converter operations in high-voltage environments.
Solid understanding of real-time control principles, interrupt service routines, and hardware-software interfacing in high-voltage systems.
Experience with real-time control implementation, including DSPs or microcontrollers, and knowledge of communication protocols like DNP3.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
Familiarity with debugging tools (e.g., JTAG, oscilloscopes) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
Strong communication skills for technical documentation and team collaboration.
Familiarity with advanced simulation environments (e.g., hardware-in-the-loop testing) and optimization techniques for control parameters.
Experience with embedded programming in C/C++ for control firmware development.
Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity for embedded devices, such as secure boot and encryption, in compliance with standards like IEC 62443.
Experience with model-based design tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink Embedded Coder) for automatic code generation and HIL testing.

Qualifications & Requirements
