This position centers on the development of scaffolds for nerve regeneration, an emerging area of biomedical engineering research. The work will involve designing and fabricating composite scaffolds using electrospinning and 3D printing for application in animal models of nerve injury. The research will also encompass scaffold characterization, in vitro cell culture studies, and in vivo analyses to evaluate biomaterial-nerve tissue interactions.
