Kiewit's South Central District is one of Kiewit's leading infrastructure districts specializing in heavy civil, transportation, and water resource markets. Projects you could be working on could include mass grading, drainage, paving, utility and more. Although most of our work is regionally based in the south-central region of the United States, we also pursue various projects stretching across the United States. Location
Kiewit's South Central District has a home office in Westlake, Texas but leads work all over Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Louisiana. Responsibilities
Field Engineering:
* Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and craft supervision
* Perform quantity calculations by taking measurements and determining percentage of completed/installed materials and work
* Assist in the preparation of work plans and work packages
* Assist in field surveying and work layout support including elevation, control points, and compilation of as-built data
* Assist in compiling, processing, and confirming daily labor timesheets
* Assist in the preparation of Job Hazard Analysis (JHA's)
* Assist in providing solutions related to construction operations
* Participate in jobsite safety reviews, toolbox meetings, mass safety meetings, and safety training

Office Engineering:
* Perform material takeoffs from drawings, specifications, and other contract documents
* Perform basic engineering calculations and technical drafting to support field operations
* Assist engineers to gather and prepare data for submittal or transmittal to the customer, vendors, subcontractors, governmental agencies, and internal use
* Participate in the preparation of purchase orders and subcontracts, performing minor solicitations and purchasing as requested
* Schedule maintenance and performing updates as directed by others
* Assist in the maintenance of basic project recordkeeping and correspondence functions including daily reports, photographs, requests for information (RFIs), and memorandums
* Enter data into the job cost system and participate in reviewing cost reports with jobsite management
* Assist in generating change orders and as-built data to be reviewed by the Project Manager

Estimating:
* Assist in reviewing and analyzing historical data relative to the project, incorporating various productions and costs appropriate in preparation of a bid
* Complete a plan and specification review for an assigned project, assessing the risk areas and bringing them to the attention of the Senior Estimator
* Complete material and quantity takeoffs according to bid documents
Qualifications
* Willingness to travel and relocate to small and large cities as business requires as we operate on a national scale
* Associates, Undergraduate, or Graduate degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field
* Infrastructure/Heavy Civil project experience is preferred
* Ability to freely access all points of a construction site in a wide-ranging climates and environments

Reporting to the customer operations manager, the Gasboy Field Engineer will play a critical role in continuously improving the customer experience. This position will receive daily tasking and prioritization from their site lead. The selected candidate will be responsible for operations and maintenance support of the MQ-4C Triton network and communications systems at a Forward Operating Base (FOB).
**Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Provide real time support for flight operations and maintenance, addressing any issues related to communications and networking to include fault isolation, remediation, and resolution.
+ Perform field integration, troubleshooting, and repair of communications and data link systems in military flight test environment, including operations on a flightline, in a hangar, and in command-and-control centers.
+ Adherence to checklists and procedures to ensure repeated success and providing redlines to procedures when necessary.
+ Communicate complex technical issues to local support, the Degrader Action Cell (DAC), Main Operation Bases (MOBs), and Responsible Engineers (REs).

+ Perform/support review and analysis of supplier design data and definition of functional test requirements including acceptance, qualification, and system integration.

Job Summary
Assists the Project Engineer with being the technical source of information for the project. Responds to questions about drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and change orders and have responsibility for assisting in writing change orders, RFl's, meeting minutes, and reviewing Submittals. Maintains an effective and professional working relationship with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers. This position includes three 'steps' (I, II and Senior), which provide for a progression of skill and experience. Step II is used for employees with 2 years of experience in this position, or with experience on larger and more complex projects. The 'Senior' step is used for employees with more than 4 years of experience and/or experience on significantly larger or more complex projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assists Project Engineer in developing and maintaining as-built drawings and other work tasks and assists with or reviews and processes submittals, change orders, RFl's, and budget forecasting. Ensures the timely and appropriate generation, collection, distribution, storage, retrieval and ultimate disposition of meeting agendas, RFl's and daily reports.
2. Demonstrates an understanding of the project management plan (PMP) and is involved in support and execution of the plan. Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the change management process and performs project scope activities and supports the project team to ensure the work needed to complete the project successfully.
3. Ensures the administration of the project quality management plan and demonstrates and reinforces a culture of safety throughout the project.
4. May assist in the calculation of daily production rates and unit costs for self-performed work. Overview
The Technical Services Engineer (TSE) I is a technical expert who supports Integrated Solutions (IS) project delivery as a member of IS Technical Services (TS) team. The TSE will provide technical authority and direction in the development and successful implementation of energy conservation measures for retro-commissioning (RCx) activities.The role provides technical authority in all phases of the commissioning (Cx) process and collaborates with the engineer of record in system optimization, and solutions development in the field. Additionally the TSE supports standards and process development, as well as training and mentorship of TS staff. The role works in close collaboration with project energy managers, and TS team managers to ensure project outcomes are met.
A TSE has a very high level of experience and expertise in the fields of MEP design and implementation with emphasis on building automation and energy management.
Responsibilities
Pre-Engineering
Provides technical assistance to pre-engineering teams during data collection surveys.
Design and Pre-Construction
Leads site surveys to determine existing facility conditions and the requirements to complete the scope of work.
Develops energy conservation strategies to execute the project scope of work related to retro-commissioning and assists design team with integration of all energy conservation strategies to ensure all systems have a comprehensive and unified approach to energy management.
Reviews Requests For Proposals (RFPs) for equipment and services procurement to ensure project outcomes are accounted for.
Collaborates with the engineering of projects in accordance with engineering best practices, company standards, and in compliance with any and all applicable codes.
Assists the project team with review of critical equipment and system submittals for conformance with contract documents and project outcome requirements.
Conducts commissioning and occasional peer reviews of design documents.
Advises the project team, in collaboration with the engineer of record, on the technical and resource requirements necessary to meet project outcomes
Construction and Acceptance
Assists the project team with site visits to review progress, quality of installation, and identify deficiencies.
Troubleshoots equipment/system installation and setup problems.
Provides technical support to the implementation team to complete the project requirements and meet project outcomes.
Assists in the optimization of complex equipment/system upgrades.
Other
Identifies gaps in project execution and creates standards/processes to solve the issues.
Supports or develops new tools supporting project execution.

Maintains an effective and professional working relationship with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers. This position includes three 'steps' (I, II and Senior), which provide for a progression of skill and experience. Step I is the entry level for individuals with a minimum of experience in this position. Step II is used for employees with 2 years of experience in this position, or with experience on larger and more complex projects. The 'Senior' step is used for employees with more than 4 years of experience and/or experience on significantly larger or more complex projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assists Project Engineer in developing and maintaining as-built drawings and other work tasks and assists with or reviews and processes submittals, change orders, RFl's, and budget forecasting. Ensures the timely and appropriate generation, collection, distribution, storage, retrieval and ultimate disposition of meeting agendas, RFl's and daily reports.
2. Demonstrates an understanding of the project management plan (PMP) and is involved in support and execution of the plan. Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the change management process and performs project scope activities and supports the project team to ensure the work needed to complete the project successfully.
3. Ensures the administration of the project quality management plan and demonstrates and reinforces a culture of safety throughout the project.
4. May assist in the calculation of daily production rates and unit costs for self-performed work. Participates in risk management including identification, analysis, response planning and monitoring and control on a project and demonstrates competency in understanding the environmental control processes for the project and takes corrective actions when necessary.
5. May be responsible for overseeing/managing the BIM (Building Information Modeling) Coordination between Subcontractors and Designers.
6. May be responsible for the documentation and submittal for the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Certification of a building and for creating and updating Digital Record Drawings (ORD).
7. May provide lines, grades and layout as required for the project while maintaining an organized log book.
8. May provide the following weekly quantities: maintains accurate quantity logs and reports quantities in compliance with the cost control manual. Completed logs are to be filed with the project files. Perform elements of the processes involved in budgeting and controlling costs so that the project can be completed within the approved budget. Demonstrates business acumen within area of responsibility. (Not all Field Engineers track quantities)
9. Provides support to superintendents required for the execution of the work and assists in the resolution of field problems as necessary.
Minimum Job Requirements
1. Ability to assume responsibility, interface and communicate with others is essential.
2. Entry-level position that normally requires a four-year construction-related degree or equivalent technical/field experience.
3. Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) proficiency.

8. Will interact with people frequently during a shift/work day

Job Description
This is a summer internship in our Engineering department. The intern will support one or more electrical design engineers with a variety of assignments, acquiring practical experience through direct involvement in ongoing operations. They will undertake distinct tasks that contribute to broader projects and participate in the standard duties expected of an electrical engineer. Furthermore, the intern may engage in activities and events aimed at promoting networking within the Dassault Falcon Jet community and among peers, thereby strengthening professional relationships and fostering effective team collaboration.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
Responsibilities encompass the design and modification of 2D wire harnesses using ESTEL
Create and revise 2D wire schematics within ELECTRE
Support Electrical Engineers with 6X and 8X design enhancements and development efforts
Conduct specialized research studies, and engage in continuous improvement initiatives
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in computer applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Obtain a thorough understanding of electrical engineering principles.
Strong communication skills in English are essential.
Must be receptive to constructive feedback and possess foundational knowledge of manufacturing processes.
Ability to create and revise electrical schematics using ELECTRE or comparable software.
Familiarity with CATIA V5 or equivalent design tools is also required.
Must be currently enroll in an accredited college or university and must reside in the United States.

Electrical Engineering major preferred
COMPENSATION:
The compensation for this position is $20.00 per hour. This position is eligible for overtime.
