How you will make an impact:
* Assist with preparation of budgets, forecasts, trend analyses, and expense accruals

Minimum Requirements:
* Currently enrolled in a BA/BS degree program in Accounting, Finance, or relevant Business-related major at an accredited college or university

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

A Day in the Life:
Global Investments and Partnerships
* Draft reports and white papers on international and federal developments to help guide Indiana's engagement strategy.
* Aid the development and execution of special meetings related to international engagement and economic development.
* In partnership with the IEDC Data & Insights team, conduct research on international matters and compile company and government background research for relevant meetings.
* Maintain meeting request tracker on behalf of Indiana State Leadership.
* Preparing high-level meetings, including room layout, protocol, print materials, gifts, etc.
* Support in-person events and delegation visits occurring over the summer.
* Work at an inter-and intra-agency level to coordinate the International Team's collaborations with others.
* Scheduled, bi-weekly, ½ hour touchpoints with the manager.
* Mid-way through the internship a touch point will occur with your manager.
Special Project
* Every Intern will work closely with an IEDC team member to further the mission of the IEDC. The Intern team will brainstorm together to envision a joint project to better the State of Indiana to grow the states economy and collaborate throughout the summer to detail a plan to make the vision a reality. The Intern team will present the final project at the end of the program.
