The Director is responsible for the overall operation and direction of patient care in the Emergency Care setting. Manages staff members in the Emergency Department Consults with staff, physicians, CNO, and COO on nursing problems and interpretation of hospital policies to ensure patient needs are met. Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.
