We are seeking a mission-focused Lead Security Engineer to support a Department of War (DoW) cybersecurity program. In this role, you will lead a team providing system assessments and preparing for Cyber Readiness Inspections.
Job Description
Conduct reviews on devices, systems, or services using the appropriate Security Resource Guide (SRG) and/or Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG)
Evaluate results and produce scoring and review summaries upon completion of review.
Perform ad-hoc assessments, provide scoring and review summary as directed by Team Lead.
Coordinate with VAT to schedule (dot) Audit scans for assessments.
Develop ACAS reports to track the Vulnerability Per Hosts metric using the DOD scoring methodology.
Review and update readiness inspection scoring reports, spread sheets, and databases.
Assist with setting up executive level and CCRI based meeting and briefings as needed.
Identify discrepancies found within eMASS and/or vulnerability database of record.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum seven (7) years IT information assurance experience with at least two (2) years leading a section
BS Degree or additional work experience substitution
Experience with the following technologies: Windows Server and Workstation O/S, Windows Exchange Server, UNIX/Linux (Red Hat) Server O/S, Network (CISCO) Router and Switch, Host Based Security System (HBSS) / End Point Security (EPS), Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)
Experience with interpreting, discussing, or presenting findings to stakeholders as required.
Possess one of the following certfications: Cisco CCNP Security, CompTIA CASP+, ISACA CISA, ISC2 CISSP

Ensure compliance to Service Level Agreements (SLA), process adherence and process improvisation to achieve operational objectives and mitigate threats.
Revise and develop processes to strengthen the current operational activities; review policies and recommend changes to improve governance based on knowledge of security tools.
Responsible for team management and overall use of resources and initiation of corrective action where required for Security Operations Center
Coordinate with stakeholders to build and maintain positive working relationships
Knowledge of penetration testing tools and in the ability to assess penetration testing findings.
Knowledge of vulnerability scanning tools to maintain capabilities as a sustained, full-time program independent of incident detection, recovery, or reporting activities.
Familiarity with performing security assessments for all IT systems, to include hardware, software, websites and other IT technologies
Experience with business process reengineering, capability maturity model, change management, or process improvement.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum seven (7) years IT information assurance experience with at least two (2) years leading a section
BS Degree or additional work experience substitution
Experience with tools like Webinspect, Nessus, burp Suite, Metasploit, PCAP tools etc.
Experience with interpreting, discussing, or presenting findings to stakeholders as required.
Experience with building metrics around findings or output from pentesting and/or scanning tools.
Possess one of the following certfications: Cisco CCNP Security, CompTIA CASP+, ISACA CISA, ISC2 CISSP

We are seeking a mission-focused Lead Security Auditor to support a Department of War (DoW) cybersecurity program. In this role, you will lead a team providing cyber compliance reporting, IA training program services and other general cyber support to the organization.
Job Description
Support the coordination of DoD, DHS, and/or OIG Compliance Inspections associated with IA activities to include but not limited to RSI, Computer Security Service Provider (CSSP), or other required inspections. Support services includes but is not limited to process documentation, inspection coordination, collection, and analysis of pre and post inspection deliverables and direct assistance/training to field units undergoing inspection.
Support the processing, tracking, and reporting requirements of DoD/DISA IAVM and DHS Information Security Vulnerability Management (ISVM) program utilizing existing processes and procedures to include development and improvement of the processes to meet emerging DoD and DHS requirements.
Track and report the compliance statistics of vulnerabilities on assets in the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Tanium, and Continuum portals and maintain asset management within the prescribed tools.
Provide focused reporting on vulnerabilities when required by higher authority thru Orders and Directives
Support the management and reporting of Continuous Monitoring (CM) requirements to DHS and DoD utilizing existing and emerging tools.
Support the accessing, analyzing, and reporting of vulnerability remediation data from the Host Based Security System (HBSS), Assured Compliance Assessment Solution, (ACAS), and Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) application suites.
Support the receipt, acknowledgement, tracking, analysis, and redistribution of DoD and DHS Directives
Support all DoD and DHS FISMA reporting requirements
