Klute is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Weekend Quality Control Inspector to join our team. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring that every product we produce meets the highest standards of quality and aligns with customer specifications. What You'll Do:
Perform visual and measurement inspections to verify products meet customer requirements.
Distinguish between acceptable and unacceptable quality from raw materials through final assembly and coating processes.
Make accurate, informed decisions regarding workmanship and weld quality using the appropriate testing methods.
Review shop prints and conduct dimensional inspections to ensure proper fit-up before welding.
Inspect completed welds and finished products for compliance.
Document all welds completed by welders and maintain accurate inspection records.
Identify and report unacceptable quality issues to the Weekend Weld Supervisor.
Participate in root cause analysis to help prevent recurring defects.
Monitor company work instructions and customer specifications to ensure consistent compliance.
Ensure all products align with project requirements and quality standards.
Report unsafe conditions or non-conforming products immediately.
