A Yard Loader is responsible for safely and accurately loading and unloading all deliveries made and received by ADS. A Yard Loader must demonstrate safe and proper vehicle operation at all times. POSITION DESCRIPTION DETAILS
In this role, the Heavy Equipment Operator must operator a variety of heavy equipment safely and effectively.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
Operate heavy equipment (dozers, frontendloaders, backhoes, excavators, grinders, compactors) efficiently and safely.
Produce a consistent quality product with no customer complaints.
Coordinate with Project Manager and transportation to ensure necessary equipment, fuel, tools, and materials are available.

Essential Duties:
The Technician assists with the duties while the Operator provides skilled and technical expertise in the operation of the water system. Both are responsible for:
Installation of mains and other pipes, water meters, valves, installing new water services/taps, reading meters, repair and maintenance of hydrants, etc.
Repair meters and ruptured water lines as needed.
Landscape restoration work.
Clean and maintain equipment, tools and trucks.
Perform maintenance on equipment and tools.
Ensure that vehicles are stocked with tools and equipment.
Operate various types of equipment and vehicles.
Prepare reports, documents, and forms as required.
Go on call outs, serve on-call, or work off-shift as needed.

Qualifications:
A high school diploma or GED is required.
The Operator position requires an Ohio CDL Class A license and OEPA Distribution Operator License (Class I or II) as well as have demonstrated skills, knowledge, abilities, and technical expertise to complete the responsibilities listed.
The Distribution Technician should have a combination of training and work experience which indicates possession of the ability to develop the skills, knowledge and abilities listed.
Self-starter, detailed oriented, handle multiple tasks, and have the ability to work as part of a team. Good communication skills needed. Basic computer skills are preferred with an understanding of Microsoft Office programs.
Must have knowledge in the use of various hand and power tools, and motorized equipment used for general repair and maintenance work.

Pay starting at $17 per hour plus $1 per hour shift differential
3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday 11pm - 7am
Duties and Responsibilites
The Extrusion Associate is responsible for the fabrication and production of the component parts for the final assembly of windows. Successful candidates enjoy working in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and repetitive work environment, which includes heavy lifting or working with your hands. This job description is reflective of tasks that will be performed in a variety of departments.
Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units
May support the window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading of materials or windows
Perform any workstation function using hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers
Understand and carry out verbal instructions
Read and carry out simple written instructions
Read work orders, labels, and schedules
Use a tape measure (will be asked to read measurements during the interview), inspect, examine, and observe for product defects
Make fraction and decimal conversions
Operate any equipment needed to perform a job
Perform other duties as assigned
Provide on-the-job training to new employees
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
Must be authorized to work in the US
Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
Ability to carry out written or verbal instructions
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
Preferably with experience in manufacturing
Preferably with experience reading a tape measure
Employees are required to stand or walk on a concrete floor surface for up to a ten-hour shift

Forklift Operator/Order Picker

Green Garden Products, a subsidiary of Central Garden & Pet, the number one supplier of top-quality flower seeds and non-GMO vegetable seeds for the gardening industry, is now seeking Forklift Operators/Warehouse Associates for the Lockbourne, Ohio facility. This is a non-exempt, full-time position. Monday through Friday, start time 7:00 am.
The Forklift Operator/Order Picker maintains production flow to and from the production line and coordinates inbound and outbound loads to meet production needs and customer orders during shipping season. The forklift driver will be required to work the production lines during offseason which includes but is not limited to, Light Assembly, Pick Pack, Pack out, Tray building and Pallet build.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and safely stack them to assigned places
* Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
* Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
* Transport raw materials to production workstations
* Daily safety and maintenance check of vehicle, report any concerns
* Keep updated accurate records of inventory and activity logs
* Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
* Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
* Follow all safety requirements and standards per guidelines
* Support production lines as needed as a line associate, includes: Light Assembly, Pick Pack, Pallet Build, Pack Out, Tray Building and any area deemed necessary to meet business needs.
* Other duties to assist production as requested
QUALIFICATIONS
* High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required
* Proven experience as forklift operator utilizing various machines including high reach; minimum 1 year
* Valid certification to operate forklifts
* Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment
* Excellent physical condition, eye sight and coordination, physical ability to lift 50 lbs.
* Effective listening, communication (verbal and written)
* Manage time effectively and adapts quickly to changing priorities

Summary:
• Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near plant, yard, or work site, performing any combination of the following duties: Reads work order or follows oral instructions
• Loads or unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand
• Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit

Requirements:
Minimum Experience: Three (3) years of forklift experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience must be within the last 5 years. Experience must also be operating in small confined areas with pedestrian traffic.
Must have knowledge of OSHA forklift and pedestrian regulations and processes.
Ability to successfully complete written and hands-on demonstration of operation to confirm competency requirements are present.
Valid driver's license
Strong attention to detail
