GEI's Bloomfield office is seeking a motivated & experienced Geotechnical Engineer to assist on a variety of projects throughout the region. Project types will include buildings, infrastructure and transportation, dams and levees, waterfront development, excavation support systems, and remediation.
Essential Responsibilities & Duties
Perform geotechnical analysis and design, and present data and results.
Observe and manage field explorations, in situ infiltration testing, and construction activities.
Design and implement geotechnical instrumentation projects.
Assist in preparing full design packages with calculations, drawings, and specifications.
Assist in overseeing construction of specialty geotechnical items such as deep foundations, tiebacks, and grouting among others.
Write letters, reports, and other deliverables.
Develop proposals and participate in other business development activities.
Minimum Qualifications
B.S. in Civil Engineering; Master's in Geotechnical Engineering preferred.
Geotechnical course work required. Structural course work a plus.
3 to 5+ years of experience.
Must have passed the F.E. exam, Professional Engineer's license a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Travel to job locations as needed.
Must have a valid U.S. driver's license.
Ability to perform field work on active construction sites without restrictions, and in inclement weather if required.

Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Delivery
Lead and supervise all phases of the projects involving risk complexity, and financial exposure.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring consistent communication, satisfaction, and value delivery.
Oversee project planning, budgeting, execution, and close-out, using standardized tools and processes.
Direct cross-functional teams-potentially across business lines, remote offices, or subcontractor relationships-to deliver successful project outcomes.

15 or more years of related experience.
PMP or equivalent certification strongly preferred.

+ Analyze and prepare schedule fragnets and delay event timelines for construction project delays

+ Develop and/or review Suggested Preliminary Construction Schedules during the final design stage based on the available plans, specifications and estimate provided by the project designer
+ Update policies, procedures, specifications of guidance related to construction scheduling and construction project management

**Job Description**
**AECOM** is seeking **Safety, Health & Environmental Site Officer II** based in New York, New York office.
**This is full-time onsite position for an on-going project in Staten Island, NY.**
**The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:**
+ Implementing the requirements of AECOM's Construction Manager's (CM) EHS Management Plan (EHSMP) and Environmental Health and Safety Plan (EHASP).
+ Support the CM in preparation of Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) in accordance with Client standards.
+ Support the CM in conducting various training for CM staff including new employee orientations, visitor orientations and Emergency Action Plan training.
+ Review all EHS related submittals by the Contractors, including, but not limited to, EHASPs, JHAs, monthly reports, asbestos/lead/mercury/PCB management and sampling plans, waste management plans, soil re-use, hazardous waste contingency plans, erosion and sediment control plans, and Stormwater Pollution Prevent Plans (SWPPP) to verify comprehensive oversight of all site activities.
+ Facilitate weekly EHS meetings with the Contractor's EHS Representative (EHSR), and other project management personnel as appropriate, to ascertain and discuss upcoming construction related activity EHS activities.
+ Conduct frequent construction site visits.
+ Track and monitor the Contractor's compliance with EHASP(s) and JHA(s).
+ Track and monitor all site EHSRs' performance including, but not limited to, reviewing the EHSR's daily reports and whether EHS issues are being adequately addressed.
+ Perform and submit daily reports of the Contractors' Work areas and document non-compliance with the Contractor's EHASPs and JHAs.
+ Review Contractor's incident reports for adequacy, participate in meetings related to construction related incidents, and verify all necessary Contractor corrective actions are implemented.
+ Submit EHS monthly status reports and metrics. Prepare monthly trending analysis of Contractor EHS performance.
+ Oversee Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) and drills for the site in coordination with Client staff.
+ Review and manage all EHS Annual Reports (i.e., EPCRA, Hazardous Waste, Confined Space).
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements**
+ BA/BS in Safety, Engineering or related degree and 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
+ CHST and/or ASP certification.
+ OSHA 10-hour Construction Health and Safety Course.
+ Knowledgeable in OSHA 29 CFR 1926 and 1910 Regulations.

+ Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP).

**Job Description**
The Environmental Business Line of AECOM is seeking a Hazardous Building Material/Industrial Hygiene Project Manager for immediate employment with the Northeast department of the EHS & Air Practice. This candidate is expected to report to the Boston, MA, Chelmsford, MA, or Manchester, NH office.
The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate at least 8 years of experience performing and managing building hazardous material (asbestos, lead paint, etc.) surveys, abatement oversight, and design and/or industrial hygiene projects. This is anticipated to be a seller/doer role, combining technical project execution with business development. On the business development side, responsibilities will include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing client relationships, and securing contracts (both internally and externally). This dual role requires a balance of technical expertise, project management skills, and business acumen to successfully grow the business while delivering exceptional service to clients.
The job responsibilities for this position will include but are not limited to:
+ Managing and/or self-performing a wide range of hazardous building material and industrial hygiene projects for both private and public-sector clients
+ Collaborating with other licensed/certified professionals and technical/regulatory specialists on hazardous building material and industrial hygiene projects. These projects are expected to include survey and investigation work, abatement/remediation design, and abatement/remediation.
+ Provide technical and/or regulatory leadership for hazardous building material and industrial hygiene projects throughout New England, the US, and internationally.

**Job Description**
**AECOM** is actively seeking a creative, highly talented **Entry Level Landscape Architecture Designer** for immediate employment in the New York City Landscape Architecture + Urban Design Studio. The studio is based in AECOM's midtown New York location.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
+ Perform design work of landscape architecture studio at the direction and under the supervision of design leadership.
+ Prepare materials for client and agency meetings.
+ Performing basic landscape architecture calculations under the supervision of team leads.
+ Preparing reports and related data tables.
+ Preparing and editing drawings as required.
+ Perform construction administration tasks at the direction and under the supervision of team leads.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements**
+ B.A./B.S. in Landscape Architecture or related disciplines.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ 1 year of professional experience.
+ Experience generating exceptional two dimensional and three dimensional design graphics.
+ Experience preparing construction documents, reports, and publication documents.
+ Experience in production and digital rendering with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Rhino.
+ Ability to effectively manage time and self-edit work.
+ Experience creating compelling open space design, with an ability to develop the work through the technical design phase.
+ Excellent verbal, written and graphic communication skills.
+ Experience in Microstation, Grasshopper, Revit, ArcGIS, and other computer applications.
+ Strong knowledge/interest in plant materials, site design, grading, and multi-disciplinary collaboration.

Job Description
The New York Metro Buildings + Places Team is a multi-disciplinary group consisting of professionals across multiple disciplines, including Architecture, MEP, Structural, Civil, Change Management, and Landscape design.
B+P is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to be based in the New York Metro area and can be based in New York City, Piscataway or Bloomfield, New Jersey.
As a people manager, the Senior Project Manager will be responsible for mentoring and guiding the federal design team to success. In addition to helping lead design development and review, the Senior Project Manager will also be responsible for client communication, consultant coordination, and contract administration. Projects will focus on the federal sector.
The responsibilities of this position also include, but are not limited to:
Working with interdisciplinary technical leads in coordinated successful execution of projects in design and construction
Maintain, develop and coordinate all aspects of the A/E practice on federal project
Prepare creative, functional and innovative designs for clients
Lead and manage a design team to produce fully coordinated set of working drawings and project specifications
Supervise and mentor within a team environment. Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced architects, designers and technical staff; provide direction to help others meet objectives
Write and coordinate winning proposals, attract new clients and retain current clients as required
Manage financial and cost control aspects of building projects
Meet with clients to discuss potential new work and/or review project requirements
Collaborate with management on preparation of project proposals; oversee design development proposals and feasibility studies
Communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of the organization
Preparation of design and contract documents, document checking, conduct construction review and contract administration throughout the duration of a project
Communicate with construction team to provide information and solve problems
Coordinating internal resources and third parties/subcontractors for the execution of projects

Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
* BA/BS Architecture or Engineering + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
* Licensed Architect or Engineer
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Direct experience managing projects for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE)
Federal government portfolio (DOD, GSA, etc.)
Experience with (UFC's, ETL's, AFMAN's, and AFI's.)
Additional credentialing such as PMP, DBIA, and/or LEEP AP
Experience in developing scope, fee, and terms for proposals and change orders for interdisciplinary teams related to building design and engineering.
Experience in implementing design quality assurance and quality control activities
Ability to interact regularly and professionally with senior management and technical staff in other offices on business development and project execution issues
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Proven organizational skills with a proven track record in client satisfaction while meeting deliverables and deadline requirements
