Position Responsibilities: * Lead and execute the strategy to build highly reliable and scalable data and analytics cloud platforms to ensure the business requirements are met * Lead the creation and implementation of repeatable and reusable frameworks for delivering data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions * Establish architecture best practices, along with comprehensive standards and guidelines, to ensure adherence across the organization * Lead, design and implement Self-Service frameworks that empower business units to develop solutions in compliance with enterprise standards, promoting autonomy and innovation * Develop cloud economics frameworks that effectively monitor and analyze cloud costs at every level, driving informed financial decision-making * Consolidate legacy platforms into a single platform for achieving single source of truth * Implementation of large scale with focus on organizational change management and reducing technology debt * Solve unusually complex technical problems and provide solutions which are highly innovative and ingenious * Develop advanced hands-on Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) to address critical capability needs, facilitating effective decision-making processes * Own all communication and collaboration channels pertaining to assigned projects, including regular stakeholder review meetings, cross-team alignments and technical research studies * Establish working relationships with vendors (technology and consulting), partners and cross teams and holding them accountable * Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in cloud and data architecture tools and technologies Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): * Bachelor's degree or higher * 5+ years of experience designing and implementing scalable computing infrastructure for data solutions, including cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) * 5+ years of experience with Information Technology architecture including cloud and data architecture in a large-scale, hybrid cloud and on-prem environment * 5+ years of experience working with Apache Spark or Databricks * 5+ years of experience in leading and partnering with cross-functional teams, involving key stakeholder relationship management * 5+ years of experience with data engineering and data pipelines for On-Prem cloud, hybrid data models and data warehouses Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): * 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience * Current industry certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions architect expert or equivalent * 5+ years of experience in the manufacturing domain with SAP * 3+ years of experience implementing Near Real time and Streaming IoT solutions * 3+ years of experience in application integration, APIs and Microservices * 3+ years of experience in Data Science, Statistics, Machine Learning and GenAI * Exceptional presentation, visualization, and analysis skills * Experience with Agile methodologies and practices Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
