AvL Technologies is offering a 7-week paid internship designed to give high school seniors and recent graduates the opportunity to directly apply their STEM learning in an advanced manufacturing environment. This hands-on experience is open to students who have participated in a Robotics program or are enrolled in a STEM school or Career and Technical Education program focused on advanced manufacturing, mechanical, electrical, or software engineering. This internship offers students immersive, hands-on experience in a professional manufacturing setting, allowing them to apply classroom knowledge to meaningful, real-world projects. Interns will rotate through key departments and play an active role in the production of AvL's parabolic antenna systems, gaining exposure to the full lifecycle of advanced manufacturing During the program, interns will rotate weekly through key departments at AvL to gain insight into the full manufacturing process: Carbon Fiber, Paint & Surface Prep - Interns will assist with sanding, finishing, and preparing composite parts for production. Wiring Fabrication - Interns will build and route electrical harnesses using soldering and crimping techniques. Mechanical Fabrication & Assembly - This rotation will focus on part fitting, torque tool usage, and hardware installation. Software & Enclosure - Interns will work with internal tools and assist with integrating components into system enclosures. System Testing - Interns will follow testing procedures to ensure each antenna meets performance standards and is ready for deployment. Procurement & Quality Assurance - Interns will gain exposure to vendor coordination, incoming part inspection, and quality control processess. Engineering & Product Development - Interns will observe early-stage product design, assist with problem-solving tasks, and learn how innovation drives the evolution of AvL's technology. The primary purpose of our Veterinary Student Externship is to provide a hands-on learning experience for 3rd and 4th year students who are enrolled in a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program. The program is typically scheduled for 2-week blocks at our hospital. We feel that the students who possess an open mind and a willingness to learn will benefit the most from our externship. Key Responsibilities The Veterinary Student Extern is responsible for performing inpatient and outpatient medical care under the direct supervision of our veterinary staff. Leasing Community Intern (Temporary, Non-Exempt) COMPENSATION: Hourly Rate, plus Bonus eligibility As a Leasing Community Intern, you must have the ability to deliver high quality customer service and dedication to our residents. Leasing Community Interns (LCIs) must possess the skills to cooperate and collaborate as a team. RESPONSIBILITIES (Including but not limited to) * Be an ambassador for customer service by consistently going above and beyond to ensure that Cardinal customers are satisfied. * Administrative Front Desk tasks and duties. * Participate in Cardinal Way of Leasing (CWoL) training as required. * Utilize the Cardinal Way of Leasing by: * Warmly greeting prospective clients * Answering incoming leasing calls * Determining needs and preferences * Professionally presenting the community and apartment homes * Utilizing feature/benefit selling * Closing the sale * Following up * Complete all lease applications and lease file paperwork. * Required to pass third party leasing shops and become Cardinal Way of Leasing certified. * Maintain accurate lease file documentation in accordance with company policy; participate in lease file audits as assigned by the Community Manager. * Maintain cleanliness of the tour path to ensure for a positive first impression of the community. * Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude with team members, residents, prospective residents, and vendors. * Participate in and assist with planning community events. * Assist with various additional community projects as assigned by the Community Manager. * Participate in Cardinal U training as required. * "On-call" responsibilities (lock-outs, nightly rounds, etc.) * Required to work evenings and weekends QUALIFICATIONS * High school diploma or equivalent. * Must be enrolled in a degree program at an accredited college or university, with a minimum of 6 credit hours. * Must have completed a minimum of one year at the enrolled accredited college or university. * Must maintain a minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average. GPA will be verified on an annual basis. Failure to maintain a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA may result in probation, suspension or release from the Community Intern position. * Must be a current or future leaseholder of community. * Must live on designated community floor, per community guidelines, as assigned by Community Manager. * Able to lift up to 40 lbs. * Must have a valid driver's license. * Available to be scheduled for work approximately 20 hours per week. * Available evenings and weekends. * Ability to embody the Cardinal Culture and Cardinal's Core Values every day.
