Highway Patrol Trooper Interns will attend Basic Training full-time from June to August at the Law Enforcement Training Academy in Bismarck, North Dakota, and graduate with a Peace Officer Standards and Training license. Interns will be provided with room and board and must stay at the Law Enforcement Training Academy during the work weeks of Basic Training. During senior year, interns must work a minimum of 5 hours per month with the option of working up to 20 hours paid per month.
