Essential Duties:
General duties include, but are not limited to mowing, fertilizing, maintaining, and rebuilding pitching mounds and home plate areas, dragging and moisture management of infield skin, field marking, edging, aerating, topdressing, verticutting, replacing sod, and tarping
Other duties will include maintaining grass seating areas and batter's eye area
Learn how to develop/implement maintenance and fertility schedules
Help train the game day grounds crew members
Report field issues such as turf stress, disease, irrigation problems, etc.
Perform other duties as assigned

The Applied Learning Internship Program provides on-the-job experiential learning, exposure to numerous business leaders and functions, and formal educational opportunities to students within the Consumer-Packaged Goods and Beverage (CPGB) industry.
Interns work on function-specific business projects throughout the duration of the program with the support and guidance of their manager. Interns gain a broader understanding of the business and CPGB industry through guest speakers, customer field experiences, facility tours, and individual / team-based experiences (i.e., one-on-one meetings, team lunch, customer meetings, etc.). An applicant must be a permanent North Carolina resident attending a college, university, law school, community college or technical institute in North Carolina or a North Carolina resident attending an equivalent institution out of state.
Applicants must carry a 2.5 or greater overall grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
Applicant must be a high school graduate and at least 18 years old by January 1, 2026.
Applicants must be continuing their education in the fall following their participation in the program.
To qualify for a law internship, applicants must have completed at least one year of law school before the beginning of the internship, unless other majors are listed.
Students having previously held paid internships with this program are not eligible to apply.
Applicants must be willing and able to work full-time for the entire 10-week internship. Applicants must be able to provide legal proof of identity and work authorization within three working days of employment.

Key Responsibilities:
Client Counseling and Support:
- Conduct individual or group counseling sessions under the supervision of a qualified clinician.
- Provide emotional support, guidance, and psychoeducation to clients dealing with various mental health issues or life challenges.
Assessment and Case Management:
- Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and assist in developing treatment plans for clients.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including progress notes and treatment documentation.

Facilitation of Psychoeducational Material:
- Gather and provide psychoeducational on a variety of topics to enhance clients' and their loved ones' understanding and skills development.

Requirements:
1. Currently enrolled in an accredited educational institution.

4. Reliable transportation means for commuting to and from our Outpatient Treatment Center
5. Commit to the duration of the internship program and fulfill the required hours as outlined by the affiliation agreement between the organization and university.
6. Be available to complete your internship hours during operational hours which are Monday through Friday
