Staffing Overview/Office Staff & Clinical: 2-3 exam rooms for use while in the office. We use a nurse/cma pod for all tasks from physician. We have specific CMA s to room all patients. The office has 16 exam rooms with one procedure room for ambulance patients.
Procedure Volume (endoscopy): Varies some provider average 10-15. Physicain has input on case volume
Weekly Schedule-Clinic and OR: Office schedule is 1.5 days in the office (open 7-4p) and the rest is scoping in Endo (schedule to be determined with OR input).
Office has 4 APPs supporting the physicians with scope referrals and an APP in the hospital M-F, 8-4p for consults, etc while physician is scoping in case of ER and inpt referrals

Internships are unpaid unless noted when hired. Lengths vary depending on your program requirements. Typically, internships in Outpatient and Victim Services last 3-6 months, with the possibility of extending to a year.

Job Description
We are seeking an Intern for a Community Behavioral Health Worker (CHW) Field Placement!
Join our team
The CHW Intern will support community health outreach, education, and other supportive services under the supervision of program staff, working with clients and families in the community across the life span.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist in conducting outreach to individuals and families to identify health and social service needs
Serve as a liaison between community members and health/social service organizations
Educate clients about health topics, preventive care, resources, and referrals
Help with coordination, scheduling, and tracking client progress
Participate in team meetings, training, and supervision sessions
Support non-clinical tasks (e.g. health promotion events, workshops, community engagement)
Qualifications / Ideal Candidate:
Recently completed CHW certificate program- REQUIRED
Interest in community health, health equity, social determinants of health
Strong communication, empathy, and cultural competency
