Key Responsibilities:

Participate in the technology transfer of processes into manufacturing facilities
Ensure safety and environmental compliance are maintained in the workplace
Some weekend working may be required for this role.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
Must have skills: - Understanding of aseptic technique and principles of mammalian cell culture, Cell culture platform process at different scales (shake flasks, AMBR, 3L/10L bioreactors, etc.)
Bachelor or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Cell Biology, Biochemistry or a related discipline
Post-education experience ?=3 years
Understanding of aseptic technique and principles of mammalian cell culture
Detailed in lab operations and quick learner for new technologies.
Experience in the operation of fed-batch and/or perfusion-based cell culture bioreactors
Knowledge of CMC
Note- Weekend works is required and is occasionally.
This is a rotating, schedule 1-4 hours on 1 weekend day and will include a Saturday or Sunday. This will be included in 40 work week and no to exceed 40 hours.

Second, the intern will provide visitor services and experience the public side of historic sites. This will include welcoming and greeting visitors, leading guided tours of the historic Harper House, and answering visitor questions. The intern will help the staff with special projects as requested - to include assisting with all special events and interpretive programs that occur during the summer.

Great Gull Island (GGI), NY, is the breeding site for 35% of the federally endangered Roseate Terns (~2,300 pairs) breeding the northwest Atlantic population, and the second largest colony (~11,000 pairs) of Common Tern on the east coast of North America. The Rubega Lab in the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology department has a grant to enhance nesting habitat for terns on GGI and create a biosecurity plan to protect the colony from predatory mammals, disease, and invasive plant species. The Program Manager (ResearchAssistant 3) will supervise all aspects of this project.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Organizing and managing the logistics of a nesting habitat restoration project for Common and Roseate Terns breeding on Great Gull Island.
Implementing a Quality Assurance Project Plan (QAPP) for all projects related to this habitat restoration project.
Ordering and supervising the transportation of supplies to the island.
Coordinating with the herbicide contractor and crew for twice-yearly application of herbicides to control invasive plant species on the island.
Coordinating and supervising volunteers conducting habitat enhancement on the island, including planting native plant plugs, installing nest boxes, and spreading pea gravel to enhance habitat over existing concrete structures.
Coordinating the removal of marine debris from the island.
Coordinating boat trips to Great Gull Island for contractors and crew members.
Supervising volunteer work crews on the island.
Supervising a staff of up to 3 habitat restoration technicians.
Writing annual reports summarizing habitat restoration efforts.

Work with a multidisciplinary team of psychologists on an NIH-funded project using intensive longitudinal data to examine return to substance use following residential substance use treatment. Under the general supervision of the Principal Investigator, assist in the acquisition and management of participant information for this research project. Administer and adhere to the research protocol, including recruitment of participants from treatment setting, participant interviews, preparing and maintaining study records, and entering study data. The Rubega Lab in the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology department has a grant to enhance nesting habitat for terns on GGI and create a biosecurity plan to protect the colony from predatory mammals, disease, and invasive plant species. The Program Manager (ResearchAssistant 3) will supervise all aspects of this project.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Organizing and managing the logistics of a nesting habitat restoration project for Common and Roseate Terns breeding on Great Gull Island.
* Implementing a Quality Assurance Project Plan (QAPP) for all projects related to this habitat restoration project.
* Ordering and supervising the transportation of supplies to the island.
* Coordinating with the herbicide contractor and crew for twice-yearly application of herbicides to control invasive plant species on the island.

Nichols College, a member of the NCAA Division III, located in Dudley, MA (Central MA) invites applications for a GraduateAssistant position with the field hockey program. The position begins August 2025. A bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university is required. Candidates would need to apply to the Nichols College Graduate Program. This position also includes a stipend.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in meeting recruitment goals established by the Division of Athletics and Head Coach.
Assist the Head Coach in planning and executing practices.
Assist in game and practice day set-up.
Attend all practices and games.
Support current student-athlete academic success.
Manage social media platforms.
Serve as the travel coordinator (meals and travel operations).
Assist with all areas of video operations.
Engage with Athletic Communications staff for events, game days, etc.
Help with equipment/uniform inventory, distribution, and collection.
Assist with fundraising and alumni outreach.
Supervise team managers.
Attain driving certification with the College.
Be an active member of the Division of Athletics (attend meetings, scheduled campus events, etc.).
Assist with game management duties out of season.
Work at the fitness room desk while in and out of season, 1-2 days a week.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree preferred with experience in collegiate athletics.
Genuine understanding and commitment to NCAA Division III intercollegiate athletics philosophy.

Must have strong leadership and people skills, plus an ability to work with all constituencies of the campus.
Able to identify and attract outstanding student-athletes to Nichols College.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Work with a multidisciplinary team of psychologists on an NIH-funded project using intensive longitudinal data to examine return to substance use following residential substance use treatment. Under the general supervision of the Principal Investigator, assist in the acquisition and management of participant information for this research project. Administer and adhere to the research protocol, including recruitment of participants from treatment setting, participant interviews, preparing and maintaining study records, and entering study data. Opportunities to participate in manuscripts development and conference presentations will be available.
Duties and Responsibilities

Conduct structured diagnostic interviews.
Administer computerized self-report questionnaires.
