    Scheduled Hours 40 We are funded to pursue development of AntiSense Oligonucleotides(ASOs) for treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders. We are looking for an experienced molecular biologist, with comfort working in cell lines and measures of RNA and protein, including RT-qPCR and reporter assays. The role will be to help design and screen various ASOs targeting a variety of genes affiliated with autism and intellectual disability. We are looking for someone willing to deeply understand the project, function fairly independently yet efficiently to screen many ASOs with robust and reliable approaches. Good communication skills, ability to organize experiments well to optimize productivity, and excellent record keeping are essential. Comfort with mouse models is a plus, as we may screen eventually in mice. Likewise, experience with IPSC derived neurons is helpful, as is experience with primer design, genome browsers, etc. Assists with research study, experiments, preparation of material, and documentation.
