Position Summary:
The Senior Graphic Designer is responsible for designing and producing communications materials for Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art and The Momentary. Such materials may include but are not limited to exhibition marketing and design; institutional materials; event identities and collateral; print and outdoor advertising; education guides and materials; banners and other display materials; member magazine; quarterly calendar; brochures, rack cards and other marketing pieces; development and membership materials; as well as digital formats, including graphics for the museum's web site and social media outlets.
The Senior Graphic Designer will be responsible for the day-to-day management of multiple and simultaneous projects, each of which may involve unique design criteria, timelines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Job Description/Responsibilities
The Designer is highly creative and detail-oriented with expertise in packaging design and a strong command of the Adobe Creative Suite. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
OSP Designer I is an entry-level role for individuals developing foundational skills in Outside Plant design. This role supports more experienced designers by contributing to the early stages of design work and completing assigned tasks with guidance.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO
Assist with preliminary design tasks under supervision.
Learn and apply basic OSP principles (Tap, MST, OTE, Splitters, etc.)
Prepare accurate design documentation and update systems of record.
Identify basic design obstacles and flag them for review.
Participate in project meetings and absorb client requirements.
Receive and respond to feedback from senior designers and QC teams.
Maintain QC score of 80%+ on received work.
WHAT WILL HELP YOU STAND OUT
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Valid U.S. Driver's License
Strong attention to detail
0-2 years of OSP or telecom design experience
Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or GIS-based tools
Ability to apply field notes precisely

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Owns the overall retail experience and customer experience for new store locations to include merchandising, and visual presentation ensure successful launches and ongoing success in their retail operations.
Provides hands-on training to the store teams and Store operation leaders. Educate on the strategies of VM, VM principles, product presentation standards, refreshing key strike points, and maintaining visual excellence consistently.
Supports holding stores accountable for visual merchandising standards and reinforces with Operation leadership the principles behind the standards to maintain consistent brand standards, ensure optimal sales performance, and enhance customer experience.
Assists Visual Merch Manager in executing visual directives as needed.
Communicates inventory levels or issues to buyers/allocation team. Directs new fixture roll outs to modernize the store's appearance. Evaluates store layouts to feature fresh products on a regular basis. Reports evaluation to manager to influence floor plans and directives.
Collaborates with merchants, allocation, procurement, and signage team members to ensure store teams have all the necessary elements needed to execute.
Leads Visual Merchandising walk throughs at store level ensuring the stores visual merchandising is kept to the highest standards.
Completes expense reports, new store contact sheets, maintenance reports, and records from new store settings monthly.
Collaborates with corporate partners in Property Management on updates and projects for new store locations.
Coordinates with District Sales Managers on scheduling and managing borrowed employees to assist with visual merchandising.
Communicates key information that is vital to the success of new initiatives.
Completes and verifies sale setups in stores for ensuring the success of promotional campaigns and maintaining operational efficiency.
Designs visual displays or executes the design decisions of another to maintain brand consistency, optimize sales performance, enhance customer experience, and ensure operational efficiency.
Creates and maintains a compelling presentation of merchandise that will engage customers and help stimulate sales activity.
Ensures signing, fixtures, lighting, and display equipment is well maintained and reflects City Gear standards.
Protects the company's assets and financial information by ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of internal control procedures and informing management and/or appropriate officials of potential fraud risk.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor degree in Retail Merchandising or equivalent.
2 - 4 years of related experience.
Strong attention to detail with emphasis on visual merchandising skills.

Strong visual and oral presentation skills.
Ability to prioritize, plan, and meet deadlines.
