Are you a passionate health professional wanting to teach in a diverse community? This part-time instructor will be responsible for teaching a state approved curriculum. Program content includes: The history of phlebotomy, introduction to the clinical laboratory, law and legal issues, medical terminology, various blood drawing techniques, communication and organizational skills, proper body mechanics and infection control / standard precautions. Other professional responsibilities include: participating in professional development activities and other related duties as may be assigned by the Dean of Health & Human Services.
This is a part-time position and the hours and dates may vary and will be established based on assignments. Teaching assignments may include online or hybrid courses. This position has been designated as a bargaining unit position represented by the Renton Federation of Teachers (RFT) Employees Association. WORKING CONDITIONS:

Future advancement in base salary, up to the current maximum of $1,640 per credit, is based upon a combination of years of service accrued at our college and professional development activity.

Lead instructors are responsible for providing online instruction and are the “face” of CodePath's virtual classes taught to university students across the nation. We are looking specifically for instructors to lead our Web Development (WEB) courses. The WEB course series covers the fundamentals of full-stack web development to deploy web apps and learn more on APIs and databases for real-world usage.
You will need to be free during the Spring Academic Term which runs between January through May, 2026. The full date range listed also includes time needed for pre-course instructor training. The course times you could be potentially assigned are set to take place on:

Key Activities

As a part-time mental health coach, you play an instrumental role in making the Headspace mission a reality! Coaches have regular touchpoints w/ their members to assist them in constructing attainable goals, offer support and encouragement, track successes and setbacks, and provide resources, tips and strategies to facilitate on-going progress.
Coaches are an integral part of each member's multidisciplinary care team. They use previous clinical and/or coaching experience, good judgment, and our guidelines to discern when to refer members to a higher level of care, such as Therapy and/or Psychiatry, or other internal or external resources. You will collaborate with our psychiatrists and therapists to help develop and reinforce progress, as appropriate.
Headspace Care coaching is delivered through text-based-chat and video within the Headspace app. In addition to coaching our members, you'll also have biweekly 1:1 supervision outside of your coaching hours and our Team Meeting recordings will be available for you to view when they are available.
Headspace coaches are ready to be part of a community working collaboratively to make mental health support accessible to everyone, no matter their background or experience.
Important Notes:
We provide 24/7 support to our members, this means coaches may be asked to work some holidays per year.
We are unable to hire licensed clinicians for this role or individuals 12 months from receiving licensure. Additionally, we are also unable to provide any type of clinical supervision towards licensure.

Summary
The Sterilization Manager is responsible for all sterilization related matters including but not limited to employee supervision, ensuring effective daily staffing, inventory management, efficient workflows, training, procedures, record maintenance, and compliance with all safety regulations and infection control standards. The manager will interact with faculty, staff, colleagues, and students on a daily basis with excellent interpersonal skills.
Principal Functional Responsibilities
Staff Supervision and Training: Oversee the sterilization team. Responsible for ensuring proper daily staffing, assigning work, training and supporting staff, performance management, conducting employee evaluations, adjusting the team workflow to meet clinical practice needs, ensuring compliance with infection control and safety standards, and serving as the point- person to address sterilization complaints and concerns. Responsible for all sterilization training, including but not limited to equipment use, maintenance, infection control standards, processes and procedures, and best practices, creating training guides and job aids.
Sterilization and Infection Control Oversight: Ensures sterilization procedures meet regulatory requirements, such as those outlined by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Alert Associate Dean Clinical Affairs of trends and issues related to infection control. Collaborate with Associate Dean Clinical Affairs, Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) Administrator and Infection Control Officer to ensure accurate and safe implementation of policies and procedures. Serve as a lead sterilization technician, working alongside staff, providing hands-on support.
Equipment and Inventory Management: Accurately oversee inventory management. Maintain accurate and timely records. Identify opportunities for improvement to relevant processes and procedures and implements appropriately. Operate sterilization equipment including washers and autoclaves. Troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality. Bring repair needs to the attention of the supervisor. Collect and distribute equipment as needed. Utilize AxiUm Dispensary module to check-out and check-in instruments and alert supervisor and Clinical Systems of any issues.
Compliance and Safety: Conduct daily and weekly quality and safety tests. Document and record results as required. Participate in periodic inspections or audits to verify compliance with infection control standards and regulatory requirements. Develop, formalize, and communicate standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all sterilization technicians to adhere to. Update SOPs on an annual and as-needed basis to ensure consistent compliance with regulations.
