Track and troubleshoot missed goals, rectifying order shortages to fulfill commitments.
Problem-solve creatively and efficiently on short notice using available system assets.
Required Qualifications:

The Plant Technician is responsible for the operation of all plant processing equipment and performing routine basic maintenance in a highly automated chemical facility. Job Title: Wrestling Work Study Department: Wrestling Reports to: Head Wrestling Coach Semester: Fall 2025 Number of Openings: 2 Rate of Pay: $9.00 per hour Schedule: Mornings, Evenings, and Weekends. Primarily scheduled around team practices.
Summary: Involves daily tasks to care for wrestling facilities and ensure a hygienic environment. Maintain a clean wrestling surface by mopping mats with a sanitizing solution and dry mopping as needed. Laundry will be done daily to provide clean practice and competition gear for the team. Other work may include assisting in meet day operations, including preparation for competition and travel, and assisting in maintaining records of stats, matches, and other information useful to the team.
Essential Job Duties:
* Clean wrestling mat with sanitizing solution and a clean mop head before and after each practice
* Ensures that the team's practice clothes are washed, dried, and ready for use the next day
* Washes the team's competition gear after each competition
* Organizes cleaning materials and washes mop heads after each use
Abilities:
* Mat & Facility Maintenance
* Mop and sanitize wrestling mats before and after practice.
* Keep wrestling rooms, locker rooms, and common areas clean and organized.
* Assist with routine upkeep and report facility issues promptly.
* Laundry & Equipment Care
* Collect, wash, dry, and return team laundry daily.
* Ensure practice gear, uniforms, and towels are clean and available.
* Track and report damaged or missing items.
* General Support
* Restock cleaning supplies, towels, and related materials as needed.
* Communicate with coaching staff regarding facility or equipment needs.
* Perform other duties as assigned to assist with team operations.
Education and Experience: HS Diploma or equivalent. Basic familiarity with welding tools and equipment and willingness to learn. Ability to lift and move heavy objects. Dependability, attention to safety protocols, and a strong work ethic. Full-time student.
Qualifications:
* Dependable, punctual, and detail oriented.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
* Physical ability to lift and carry laundry and cleaning supplies (up to 40 lbs).
* Previous experience with athletics or facility upkeep preferred but not required.
