The Cashier in the Guest Services department at Birmingham Zoo Inc. (BZI) is responsible for providing fast, friendly service to our guests while following proper cash handling procedures. This is a seasonal position supporting the Zoo's busy spring and summer season. Employment is temporary and will last no longer than six (6) months, and may be shorter based on operational needs. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Greets all visitors with a smile and offers assistance. Communicates clearly and in a friendly manner. Insures accuracy of transaction to visitor and communicates appreciation for their business. Applies cash handling procedures, asset protection policies and requirements to daily routines.
