Qualifications: Previous experience operating heavy equipment or machinery in a logistics or industrial environment preferred Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail. Basic communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. This position is subject to a twenty-four (24)-hour call. • Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications • High school diploma or GED. • Working knowledge of highway maintenance practices preferred, but not required. • Ability to use various hand tools and materials used in highway maintenance. • Ability to operate a variety of highway maintenance equipment ranging from small power tools to large vehicular equipment requiring moderate training. • Knowledge of traffic laws applicable to light and heavy equipment. • Ability to follow instructions. • Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with air-brake endorsement.
