Operates various mechanical equipment used in agricultural production, such as mowers, loaders, and irrigation equipment. Bag and palletize compost for distribution, ensuring correct weight and labeling of each bag. Operate compost bagging equipment and perform routine maintenance checks to ensure safe and efficient operation. Spray and control weeds around the compost field using approved herbicides and application equipment, following safety guidelines and application schedules. Mow and maintain vegetation around the compost site using mowers and trimmers to promote site safety and cleanliness. Load bulk compost and palletized product onto trucks using skid steers, loaders, or forklifts as required. Assist with compost site upkeep, including cleaning work areas, removing debris, and ensuring pathways and loading zones remain clear. Follow all safety and environmental regulations, including proper use of PPE, handling of chemicals, and equipment operation procedures.
