The candidate must have a minimum of 1-year experience inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing trucks and stationary equipment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, effective listening and problem-solving skills, and dedication to providing excellent customer service is desired. Position Summary:
The Heavy Equipment Mechanic is responsible for troubleshooting, cleaning, inspecting, and maintaining heavy and support equipment safely and professionally. This position requires a valid driver's license and a medical card.
Your Role:
Diagnose mechanical problems through Cat E.T. and Volvo Prosis/Tech tool software.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including but not limited to hydraulic, brake, and electrical systems, transmissions, engines, etc., to maximize safe and productive operations.
Replace parts such as bearings, engines, cylinders, and screens.
Overhauls of equipment such as loaders, excavators, sweepers, grinders, etc.
