ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES Move bulk and break-bulk material and cargo, and/or load trucks, through the use of heavy equipment including: A front-end loader, bulldozer, excavator, tri-axle dump truck, forklift and/or crane. Operate all equipment safely and efficiently. Perform general labor tasks to assist with material processing, property maintenance, pile maintenance, or other projects as needed. Perform general labor tasks associated with the use, care, cleaning, and maintenance of the equipment. Perform daily clean-up of the work site. Follow all safety and operational policies, regulations, and programs. Successfully complete all required training programs. Interact effectively with other employees. Perform other duties as assigned and assist other staff as needed. Travel to other Company operations as needed. QUALIFICATIONS: HS Diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license and transportation, required. A CDL is preferred. Minimum 1-3 years' experience operating heavy equipment including: front-end loader , bulldozer, excavator, heavy forklift, cranes, CDL Class B trucks. Ability to safely lift 50 lbs. Good communication skills. Ability to work varied hours including weekends, holidays, evenings, and/or overnight shifts required. Ability to travel to other Company operations when needed. What you'll do: As an associate you will be working within one of several teams: * Receiving:This team accepts our customers' new inventory and owns the entire process of getting that inventory put away and accepted into our system. The responsibility of communicating the arrivals and any exceptions are receiving owned as well. * Picking: Spread across two different processes our picking team is responsible for delivering products to the next stage of the process quickly and accurately. An integral team in the warehouse, pickers and their peers keep the flow of customers products moving and keep the warehouse humming. * Packing:The final touches before a customer receives their products, the packing team is responsible for ensuring the quality of each and every shipment as well as packing the items correctly. Experience * 5+ years of experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically with dozers. * Experience with GPS equipment. * Familiarity with construction site operations and procedures is essential. * Experience operating excavators, loaders, backhoes, water trucks, dump trucks is a plus. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the job site. Requirements * Must pass a background check and drug test prior to hiring. * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks. * Ability to work effectively in varying weather conditions and physical environments.
