The purpose of this position is to be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Equipment support, equipment maintenance, and light and heavy vehicles on assigned projects or activities of a public works nature. The position requires manual labor, completed alone or as part of a crew. You will perform a variety of manual tasks and activities, i.e., perform work in stormwater maintenance. The Operator - Heavy Equipment is responsible for the safe operation of heavy equipment at a recycling center, landfill or transfer station for the purpose of transferring, spreading, covering, loading and/or compacting waste or soil in an efficient and safe manner. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: + Perform pre- and post-operation inspection of the equipment in accordance with Company policy to ensure windows, lights, mirrors and rear view camera are clean. Safely and efficiently operate equipment that may include: forklift, excavator, bulldozer, front-end loader and other equipment using proper safety standards. + Continuously monitor waste for evidence of unacceptable waste in materials. + Continuously monitor the condition of the equipment to ensure it is operationally ready at all times to minimize down time; clean tracks or wheels on equipment, as needed. + Perform and document minor service on equipment, referring more complicated mechanical issues to Maintenance Shop for repair. + Complete Equipment Condition Report and other reports, as necessary; report any necessary repairs to supervisor, as needed. + Follow all required safety policies and procedures. + Ensure that shop is clean, serviced and stored at the completion of each shift. + Perform other job-related duties as assigned. The position of Lease Operator is responsible for oil and gas well operations, well testing, operating and maintaining field equipment and facilities, surveillance of general field operations and maintenance of various databases regarding production and operations. Responsibilities Non-scheduled callouts outside normal business hours can be expected. Types of wells include flowing, beam pump (with electronic pump-off controller), plunger lift, water injection and water disposal. Types of facilities include production tank batteries, flowlines, LACT (lease automatic custody transfer) facilities, water injection plants, natural gas compression, cathodic protection and metering devices (electronic gas measurement and others). Job is to be performed employing safe work practices while utilizing acceptable environmental procedures to maximize earnings while minimizing costs on assigned oil and gas producing properties. Daily monitoring of multiple well sites by vehicle. Test, calibrate and troubleshoot equipment and mechanical problems. Perform mandatory paperwork required by customer and regulatory agencies. General housekeeping and field maintenance. Qualifications 2+ years of Lease Operator experience required. High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Valid US Driver's License with acceptable driving record required. Must be able to meet all conditional job offer requirements including background, drug test, MVR, agility and fit for duty. Physical Requirements - Must be able to lift 40 lbs., climb ladders and stairs. Walking, bending stopping is required. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment.
