Front End Appearance and Upkeep Keep the front end, including checkout areas and entrance doors neat and clean at all times. Face and dust front end. Assist with keeping impulse counters stocked and faced, rotate fresh merchandise in as seasons change. Ensure fresh ads are stocked in shopping carts at all times. Ensure forms and supplies are stocked at all times. Assist with decorating the front end according to the Store Support Center program. Call for cart pickups when necessary. Inform management when merchandise returns need to be put away. Perform all other duties as assigned. They maintain the exterior surfaces of ships, deck handling machinery, and equipment, handle cargo, and operate small boats during various evolutions, including Anti-Terrorism Operations and Maritime Interdiction boardings of suspect ships. Responsibilities Standing watch as helmsman, lookouts, and Boatswain Mate of the Watch. Repairing, maintaining, and stowing equipment in preparation for underway operations. Serving as Search and Rescue swimmers. Standing security watches while in port and underway. Operating sound-powered telephone systems. Participating in naval ceremonies. Conducting underway replenishment (transferring supplies from ship to ship at sea). Operating small boats and performing flight deck and amphibious operations.
