This role is responsible for executing marketing initiatives, developing compelling marketing materials, managing CRM data, and supporting business development activities to elevate brand visibility and new project opportunities.

Duties:
Proposal & Pursuit Support
Lead or support the preparation of qualifications, proposals (RFPs/RFQs), and interview presentations.
Manages the comprehensive proposal and qualifications submittals process from kickoff to submission.
Works in a team atmosphere to develop proposal strategy and facilitate the proposal process. Responsibilities include writing copy, developing graphics, and ensuring delivery of final product.
Coordinate with technical staff and leadership to gather content, resumes, project descriptions, and other materials.
Manage deadlines and ensure high-quality, timely submission of pursuit documents.
Business Development
Support the business development team in tracking leads, opportunities, and client relationships using CRM tools.
Conduct market research to identify potential clients, competitors, and industry trends.
Assist with the coordination of client events, trade shows, conferences, and sponsorships.
Assist with client follow-up efforts and maintaining a business development calendar.
Supports business development leaders to win new work through quality pursuit, SOQ, proposal strategies, and win themes; supports the Go/No-Go process.
Marketing & Communications
Assist in the development and execution of strategic marketing plans and campaigns.
Develop marketing collateral, including SOQs, brochures, presentations, case studies, and project sheets.
Maintain brand consistency across all external communications and materials.
Partner with communications/marketing team members to develop content for communication channels, including website, social media, and intranet that ensures consistent, integrated brand perception and user-experience.
Manage design award submittals for market.
Collaborate with project managers, principals, and technical staff to gather project data and success stories.
Maintain the database (resumes, project information, graphics, boilerplate library).

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
2-5 years of experience in marketing and/or business development, preferably in the AEC industry.
Excellent graphic design, writing/editing, and verbal communication skills.
Solid understanding of the basics of good design, especially about typography, color, and composition.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Microsoft Office, and CRM systems (Deltek).
Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Understanding of AEC terminology and proposal processes.
Experience with proposal writing in response to public and private sector RFPs/RFQs.
Familiarity with marketing strategy, branding, and content development.
Enthusiasm for storytelling, visual design, and strategic thinking.
Sense of urgency and strong collaborative spirit.
A positive and upbeat entrepreneurial attitude with a customer-centric approach to daily work.
Interest in architecture and engineering design.
Ability to contribute to develop and implement winning proposal/presentation strategies.
Experience with photography, videography, and other digital marketing tools/software a plus.

Role Description: Directs and manages a wide range of rail and transit planning projects collecting information, engaging with the public, developing recommendations, creating documents, and presenting results. Will help lead growth of rail and transit planning, program management and design projects at Huitt-Zollars through client development, business development and project management. Huitt-Zollars does a wide range of planning work, including transportation (transit, pedestrians, bikes, and cars), land use, parks, resilience, and site planning. Our recent rail and transit work includes a bus network redesign in Fort Worth, a regional rail master plan in Philadelphia, a commuter rail station in Austin, BRT corridors in York and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and a transit center in Santa Fe. We support PennDOT on a variety of program management tasks as well.
We are looking for a project manager / lead planning manager with a particular focus on rail and transit, and specific expertise and experience in one of the following: rail systems planning, corridor planning, transit priority, data analysis, or rail and transit service planning. We also expect that this planner would be able to work on a wide range of projects and provide direction and leadership in pursuing and creating additional planning and program management opportunities with rail and transit clients, localities and transit authorities with a focus in the DC metropolitan area and Pennsylvania but also support projects nationally.
A planner V must be able to function as a project manager, working with internal team members, consultants, and the client under the direction of a principal in charge. They must be able to guide a project by outlining deliverables, planning out public and stakeholder outreach, managing an overall project schedule, assigning tasks to internal team members, setting up meetings, and leading discussions. 10+ years of experience in rail or transit planning is required. This full-time position within our Federal Group will be participating in a team to help execute a variety of Federal investigation/remediation projects with oversight from senior managers and technical experts. Job Description
AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Structural Engineer to join our AECOM Transportation Department in either our Arlington or Glen Allen, VA office. AECOM is searching for candidates that can be creative and impactful on a wide range of transportation projects. Entry-level technical new hires are eligible to participate in AECOM's Graduate Development Program (GDP), a program designed to support assimilation into the organization, help with technical development planning toward licensure (or other early technical milestones), and with creating a foundation of knowledge necessary for future career success.

As an Entry-Level Structural Engineer, you will work with multi-discipline project teams in developing a range of engineering solutions from initial concepts to detailed design development and through construction. This role is expected to start in the summer of 2026.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Various tunnel engineering support services

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering
Due to the nature of work, US Citizenship is required for this position

Registration as an E.I.T.
Strong technical writing and presentation skills
Flexibility to work on a variety of projects, including highways, bridges and tunnels.
Flexibility to occasionally work alternate schedules (nights, weekends and holidays) and short-notice work assignments depending on project needs
Must be detail oriented and demonstrate good problem solving ability.
Good interpersonal skills and professional demeanor.
Ability to clearly communicate technical information in layman's terms.

Job Description
AECOM is seeking an experienced Transportation Planning Senior Manger to join our team in DMV geography. This role will have various senior management responsibilities including business development efforts with business line leadership to grow the transportation business in the sub-region, resource management at a sub-regional level, developing and implementing strategies for operational efficiencies and technical quality, and supporting various programs and individual projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the senior leadership team on driving strategic growth initiatives throughout the region.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement by leading initiatives to enhance team performance, process automation, and resource optimization.
* Demonstrate deep customer insight, ensure a client-driven culture, spearhead and support market-focused solutions.
* Drive operational excellence through data-driven decision-making, utilizing metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement. Work with the team in developing annual strategic plan to set targets and goals for the fiscal year.

* Provide regular updates on resource status and utilization to senior management, including recommendations for optimizing resource use.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Planning, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field and 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership.
* Experience in business development, resource management, project management, and/or operations within an engineering or technical environment.
* Demonstrate a strong understanding of engineering processes and have experience with aligning resources effectively with technical requirements.
* Experience overseeing multiple technical teams while managing competing priorities and multiple stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
* AICP certification

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
* Utilize basic scientific principles, theories, practices, and existing technologies to develop solutions for technical problems with limited scope.
* Prepare technical work plans and reports.
* Interpret and record data, conduct analyses, compare findings to relevant studies and local, state, and federal regulations to ensure compliance.
* Plan, execute, analyze, and report on environmental measures in natural systems.
* Apply standard field practices and techniques using basic field equipment to collect samples of soil, soil vapor, groundwater, surface water, sediment; prepare samples for shipping, and complete chain-of-custody or similar paperwork.
* Apply knowledge of natural sciences (e.g., chemistry, physics, biology, geology, hydrology, and mathematics) to explain observations.
* Prepare preliminary data and scientific documents.
* Review analytical data for general indicators of quality for routine analyses based on well-defined guidelines.
* Coordinate with task and project managers, working with on-site subcontractors and field staff, supporting sampling, data collection, and field documentation.
* Manage personal workloads, apprising project managers of progress and obstacles and presenting project outputs for final delivery.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
* Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science and must have completed at least three years of study at an accredited college or university. Candidates who have graduated with a Bachelor's degree and plan to continue with the Master's degree are eligible to apply for these positions. Graduates must have been enrolled in their bachelor's degree in the most previous school term with an interest in pursuing an advanced degree in the same or similar discipline at the conclusion of the internship.
* Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required.
* Valid U.S. Driver's License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices.
* As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.
* Ability to operate large pick-up truck or SUV on jobsites.
* Frequent repetitive bending/stooping to perform duties to conduct groundwater/surface water sampling and soil/sediment sampling.
* Frequent exposure to variable seasonal outdoor weather conditions including heat, cold, wind, dryness, moisture.
* Frequent moving and lifting bags of sand, buckets of groundwater, and field equipment up to 25 pounds unassisted and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
* Position requires wearing personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses, vest, gloves, hard hat, and field boots all day while performing field work.
* Occasional work in remote work areas.
