Complete paperwork such as work orders, forms and checklists associated with assembly of device. Basic testing, troubleshooting and inspection of assembled products for defects and quality. Document and update assembly processes as necessary. - Warehouse: Uncrating equipment from suppliers to get sub-assemblies ready for final assembly and test. Crating of equipment for shipment to customer. Assist loading and unloading of container shipments and trucks Help organize and track equipment inventory in warehouse. - Miscellaneous: Maintain inventory accuracy. Participate in cycle counting program. Notify Supervisor of count discrepancies and shortages. Train other co-workers as needed. Work Safely. Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area. What you'll bring Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required Demonstrate excellent leadership skills; at least 2 years of Production Team Leader experience Effectively communicate with all team members, both written and verbal Organizational skills Must be knowledgeable and demonstrate proficiency with MS Word and Excel Maintain the integrity of confidential business and product information Take initiative to recognize areas of opportunity and resolve with appropriate action Identify problems, works towards root cause elimination utilizing appropriate problem-solving methods Continuously search for new and better ways of doing things; challenges the status quo and sets stretch goals; works across boundaries to achieve common goals; strives to continuously improve oneself Preferred Qualifications AS or BS degree in Engineering (Manufacturing), Industrial Management, Business, or comparable degrees; or equivalent experience 5 years of production leadership experience Formal Lean Training and supervision experience a plus Physical Requirements Ability to stand/sit for a full 10-hour shift Physical Requirements include the ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds and/or awkward items The compensation range for this position is $75,000 - $93,500 annually.
