WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR * Must hold a valid Wisconsin Journeyman Electrician License (Class B) or Master Electrician License (Class A). * Proven experience as an electrician in industrial setting, such as a chemical plant, power plant, or wastewater treatment facility. * Strong understanding of industrial control systems, instrumentation, motor control, and power distribution. * Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex electrical schematics and blueprints. * Demonstrated commitment to safety and a thorough understanding of NFPA 70E guidelines for working on and around energized equipment. * Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including confined spaces and at heights. * Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. * Willingness to work on evening shift, frequent weekends, and/or on-call basis for emergency repairs, as needed. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Three plus years' electrical maintenance experience in heavy industrial environment. Strong knowledge and experience with industrial electronics, AC/DC theory, power transmission, test instruments and instrumentation, VFD's, PLC's, ladder logic, relay logic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, motor controls, and electrical construction. Ability to install, troubleshoot, and maintain a wide variety of industrial equipment using schematic diagrams and equipment manuals as guides. Demonstrated commitment to safe working behaviors including lockout, fall protection, confined space, and mobile equipment operation. Great teamwork, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Certificate of Completion of Apprenticeship, Journeyman Certification, or equivalent work experience. Steel industry experience. Welding and light fabrication experience. Experience with industrial communication networks (Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet). Experience with Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) control loops and combustion controls.
