ABOUT THE ROLE The Maintenance Electrician is a union position. All duties are performed in a work-safe manner; plant safety rules are followed and individual works as a team member. Tessera is seeking an Electrician, Maintenance who plans, estimates and performs a variety of electrical trade functions such as the installation, maintenance or repair of equipment for the generation, distribution or utilization of electric equipment and components. Typical duties include but are not limited to: Work involves installing or repairing any of a variety of electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment; working from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications; locating and diagnosing problems in the electrical system or equipment; working standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment. Minimum 3 years' experience Commercial and Electrical Systems and Controls Strong understanding of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) and maintenance practices.
