They will be tasked with operating and maintaining coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), as well as inspecting and ensuring the precision and accuracy of parts or products according to engineering drawings, specifications, or design standards. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits and room for advancement! Responsibilities: Setting up and operating the coordinate measuring machines to measure parts and components accurately. This can include both manual and automated CMM systems. Inspecting parts to ensure they meet required specifications, measuring attributes like dimensions, angles, surface roughness, and positioning of holes or features. Reviewing measurement data to identify any discrepancies or defects to determine whether the part or component is within the allowable tolerances. Recording inspection results, documenting any deviations, and providing reports to engineers or managers. Ensuring that the CMM is properly calibrated and maintained for optimal performance, including regular checks, maintenance, and troubleshooting. The Metrology Inspector will work in the Quality Department and be responsible for performing inspections using precision measurement equipment/devices. The Role - Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Metrology Inspector to work out of its state-of-the-art facility in Mesa, AZ. POSITION OVERVIEW We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Part-Time Property Assessment Specialist to join our team. In this role you'll play a vital part in ensuring our residential properties meet the highest standards, both inside and out by conducting thorough inspections and light maintenance across your local market. As part of the role, we will provide a company phone, equipment, and mileage reimbursement to support your work in the field. This part-time position requires a commitment of 20 hours per week and is ideal for someone who is self-motivated, tech-savvy, and looking to grow within the real estate industry. This is a great opportunity for individuals interested in learning the property management space or for licensed real estate agents and similar professionals seeking supplemental income while gaining hands-on experience in the field. The primary goal of this role is to identify maintenance concerns, potential hazards, code violations, and provide comprehensive inspection reports that support informed decisions around property upkeep and renovation needs. As part of this role, employees must be comfortable performing inspections in homes where challenging conditions may be present such as pests, trash, or other environmental factors. You will also be responsible for miscellaneous field tasks as needed and will serve as the company's representative on-site, ensuring a professional presence.
