Position Summary The Quality Control - Aircraft Inspector is responsible for ensuring all aircraft maintenance, inspections, repairs, and documentation are carried out in strict compliance with FAA regulations, manufacturer's specifications, customer requirements, and Company standards. This role is critical to maintaining the highest levels of airworthiness, safety, and operational reliability. Essential Duties & Responsibilities * Perform incoming, in-progress, and final inspections of aircraft, components, and articles maintained by the Company. * Monitor workmanship and materials to ensure compliance with FAA regulations, manufacturer guidelines, and Company procedures. * Verify that all required maintenance and inspection documentation is completed accurately and in compliance with regulations. * Oversee proper use of tools, equipment, and safety procedures, ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements. * Confirm that all maintenance work meets FAA, customer, Company, and manufacturer standards of quality. * Complete inspection records in accordance with the Repair Station Manual / Quality Control Manual and applicable customer guidelines. * Conduct surveillance of maintenance practices, storage areas, shops, and housekeeping standards, initiating corrective actions as required. * Provide constructive feedback to improve efficiency, productivity, quality, and safety. * Assist Crew Chiefs and Supervisors in determining the scope of required repairs. * Perform weight and balance procedures. * Release aircraft or components back into service following approved inspections. * Participate in special projects or other duties as assigned by leadership.
