The QC Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all incoming materials and shipments meet quality standards before being accept into inventory. This role goes beyond basic verification and requires the expertise to perform complex inspections, document, and report non-conformance issues. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Perform comprehensive visual and quality inspections on a wide variety of incoming materials and components. Reject shipments that fail to meet quality specifications and process non-conformance reports. Verify the quantity and type of items received and cross check purchase orders, repairs and packing lists with CMS ERP system. Perform and document advanced inspections and tests on received products, materials, and components. Performs final product labeling and inspections, manages transport and storage of quarantine tissue, and maintains labeling supplies. Ensure that Labeling Operations are in Compliance with the State and Federal Regulations and AATB Standards. Responsibilities: Perform inspections of incoming and outgoing engines, components, and materials to meet quality control requirements as stated in the repair station quality control manual. Determine that no defective, unserviceable, or non-airworthy condition exists prior to release to service, check all documentation. Check incoming engines, components, and materials for hidden damage. Consult with Powerplant Engineer and generate inspection reports as needed. Perform shipping and receiving duties. Mentor Inspector I in proper inspection tool usage, inspection report writing, and complex inspections required for Insepctor II. Qualifications / Requirements: Must have High School Diploma or equivalent experience. 5 - 9 years years of experience and Powerplant license required for Inspector I; 10+ years of experience and Powerplant license required for Inspector II.
