By law, mortgage companies and banks are required to document the occupancy and physical condition of all mortgaged loans. To do this they send a Property Inspector to the physical property to take specific photos and to reasonably determine if the property is occupied or vacant. The property inspector then reports the general condition of the property using a mobile app. Mortgage Field Service Inspectors are Property Inspectors who: *Determine if a property is occupied or vacant. *Rate the property as Good, Fair, or Poor. *Take photos of the property using your smart cell phone. *Fill out a form on your cell phone using a downloadable app. *Answer multiple choice questions about the property condition. REQUIREMENTS: *Must be able to pass a criminal background check. *Must have dependable transportation (good gas mileage is a plus). *Must have a smartphone (Android or iPhone). *Must have a printer/scanner (or easy access to both). *Must a desktop/laptop or tablet to print forms. INCOME and ASSIGNMENTS: Income-based on area and volume. Most inspectors can complete several inspections an hour. Rural areas may pay more per inspection on average. How you will make an Impact (Job Summary) This position's primary responsibility will be to troubleshoot and fix routine quality and warranty issues with Marley Products in the field to improve response time and customer satisfaction. This position will link plant quality with customer experience. In addition to being Marley's field service presence, this position will be located at the Olathe plant and be an integral part of the plant's in-house quality team. This position will spend roughly 50-75% of the time in the field supporting customers. This employee must be able to diagnose routine quality issues in the field, communicate the plan to fix and implement the solution in the field. Furthermore, this individual must be able to capture field fixes and translate them back to production to eliminate these from happening again. We are going to manufacture/supply top cap parts of lithium-ion battery cells to Panasonic Energy. Summary: The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing inspections of small press components through visual examination and dimensional measurement. This role ensures product quality by detecting defects, verifying measurements, and recording inspection results accurately. Responsibilities: Conduct visual inspections of small press components for surface defects, deformation, or other abnormalities. Perform dimensional measurements using various tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Record and report inspection results clearly and accurately. Identify non-conforming products and follow procedures for isolation and documentation. Operate inspection equipment and maintain it in proper working condition. Follow work instructions, inspection criteria, and quality procedures. Communicate inspection findings effectively to supervisors or Quality Control Engineers. Assist with basic quality data entry and documentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the inspection area. Requirements: Qualification: An associate degree or bachelor's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) field is required. Bilingual: Japanese and English. Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings and specifications. Familiarity with common measurement tools and techniques. Good attention to detail and ability to detect visual defects. Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting. Willingness to learn and follow quality standards and procedures. Ability to concentrate and work accurately over extended periods. Previous experience in press component manufacturing is a plus. Physical Qualification: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
