We are currently seeking a Senior Instructional Designer to join our team. This position is responsible for designing content and delivery methods to optimize learning and application of concepts and behaviors, applying advanced principles of adult learning theory and instructional design to lead, analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate innovative and interactive instructor-led, virtual, and online training solutions. The role supports the delivery of learning for all Corporate Employees and new initiatives designed and delivered by Corporate Human Resources (CHR) to enhance the employee experience, leader development, and strategic business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
* Consults with CHR COEs and program managers to understand performance and learning needs, and conducts learner, job/task, performance, and content analysis and determines appropriate delivery method of training.
* Collaborates and partners with team members and subject matter experts from various departments to develop dynamic learning solutions.
* Designs, develops, and implements project plans to execute sound instructional design processes which achieve targeted performance objectives, and desired business impact.

* Develops and designs instructional activities, programs and learning experiences including (but not limited to) instructor led presentations, facilitator's guides, workbooks, scripts, handouts, communication plans, training documentation, visual, web-based, multi-media content, job aids, simulations, role-plays, self-study materials and other training materials/media.
* Creates surveys and implements or utilizes necessary evaluation tools to measure learning, knowledge retention and performance of learners.
* Evaluates the effectiveness of existing modules/programs through routine audits, provides feedback to CHR team members to support the improvement of content creation and facilitation, distributes reporting metrics to pertinent personnel to continuously improve training programs and materials.
* Maintains existing learning programs to ensure relevancy and accuracy resulting in efficient and effective training solutions to meet business goals.
* Builds and maintains productive relationships with other departments and stakeholders to form a seamless integration of learning solutions.
* Demonstrates the values and mission of Insperity throughout the department and the Company.
* Reviews Instructional Design content, as assigned, to maintain Instructional Design fundamental standards and best practices.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in a job-related field or four years of related experience is required.
* Six to eight years of instructional design and training development experience including instructional design, graphic design, curriculum development, blended learning, instructor led, and online training is required.
* Ability to communicate tactfully and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
* Knowledge and practical experience with applying formal instructional design and curriculum development methodologies to corporate learning programs.

Primary Purpose:
Under the direction of the Chief Academic Officer, the Instructional Specialist will support and assist classroom teachers in implementing the district curriculum. The Instructional Specialist will assist with the implementation of best practices, reflective sessions following observations of teachers, and the organization and delivery of professional development activities.
