Since 1980, Parkland College's College for Kids (CFK) enrichment summer camp has provided area youth with challenging, exciting, and safe experiences designed to ignite a lifelong desire for learning. College for Kids provides the opportunity for students ages 6-13 years to explore areas of study and interest in a non-graded, fun-filled environment through quality, hands-on experiences. Position provides flexibility as instructors may submit 1-4 class proposals. Instructors may elect to teach one or both sessions.
Instructors are paid for 16 instructional hours per class. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience and ranges from $25 to $35 per hour. Hiring is contingent upon the course meeting the minimum class size and submission of the finalized class curriculum and supply list by a pre-established deadline in April.

Program Goals:
Summer CFK programs are designed to attain the following goals:

* Expose students to a learning atmosphere that will motivate them to achieve their highest potential.

* Attend mandatory CFK Staff Orientation on Thursday, June 4, 2026.

Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree.
* Two or more years' experience in education (teaching) or related field; experience teaching children ages six (6) through thirteen (13) years old preferred.
* Prospective new hires will successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check with fingerprinting. The background check review includes, but is not limited to, exclusionary offenses per the Illinois School Code and Title IV of the Higher Education Act.
* Demonstrated passion and proficiency in the proposed subject area.

Quick Link ****************************************** Position Title Massage Therapy Program - Anatomy & Physiology Instructor Position Description Lincoln Land Community College is seeking qualified, part-time, non-benefited Anatomy and Physiology instructor to teach in the Massage Therapy program at the LLCC Medical District Building in Springfield.
Instructors will be responsible for the following in both classroom and lab portions of class:
* Prepare lessons and update course materials as needed including course syllabi.
* Develop quizzes, exams, and other course materials.
* Provide quality instruction and classroom management.
* Make recommendations for updates/changes as needed to maintain currency of the program.
* Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance including following grading procedures.
* Collaborate with the program coordinator to address and resolve student concerns, proactively identifying potential barriers to a positive learning environment, and promptly reporting and managing any incidents that may arise in the classroom setting
* Collaborate with fellow massage therapy instructors to co-teach the program, ensuring alignment on content and scheduling
* Utilize instructional technology in support of the teaching/learning process
Instructor's pay will range from $27.00-$35.00 per hour depending on experience and education. The anticipated schedule for this position is 4 hours per week (plus development time) held on Tuesdays from 5:30 pm - 9:30 pm, between July 2026 - February 2027.

Position Requirements
Required Qualifications (must meet one of the following):
* Master's degree in Anatomy & Physiology or a closely related field AND experience teaching A&P at the high school or college level.
* Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate science endorsement AND experience teaching A&P.
* Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) in Illinois AND substantial teaching experience and/or documented long-term hands-on practice in massage therapy.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience teaching in a massage therapy or allied health program.
* Strong communication and collaborative skills for co-teaching environment.
