Clinician I will collaborate with the Treatment Team to formulate the Master Treatment Plan and assist in coordinating discharge planning. The Clinician I has primary responsibility for maintaining communication with the family, referral source, and other service providers as needed. Core Job Duties Provides excellent individual, family, and group therapy to assigned patients following program curriculum provided by Clinical Director. Completes and ensures appropriate sign-off of all required documentation ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures, state regulations, Joint Commission standards, and Medical Needs Criteria. This includes the following documents: Biopsychosocial Assessment and Integrated Summary (72 hours) Comprehensive Problem List Integrated Master Treatment Plan and Updates (24-72 hours based on payer) ASAMs (24 hours, based on state standards) Individual, family, and group therapy session notes (24 hours) Discharge Summary (72 hours) Uses substance abuse and co-occurring therapeutic interventions and de-escalation techniques to assist patients with accomplishing all treatment plan goals and objectives and successfully complete treatment. Assesses patient for substance use disorders, risk to self or others, and co-occurring mental health disorders. Uses therapeutic interventions to assist patients with accomplishing all treatment plan goals and objectives and successfully complete treatment. Manages aftercare recommendations and support that will prepare the patient for maintaining successful recovery. Provides group therapy. Provides caseload management as per state requirements. Participates in crisis intervention with patients as needed. Participates with multidisciplinary teams such as Financial Case Managers to provide appropriate aftercare planning and securing resources. Completes documentation daily to meet metrics of 92% completion within compliance. Other Required Tasks: Attend Daily Flash Meetings in the absence of the Clinical Director or Assistant Clinical Director. Maintains positive relationships with all staff. Participates in multidisciplinary treatment plan reviews. Maintains healthy boundaries with patients and staff. Asks for and accepts feedback from supervisors. Qualifications: Education: Masters' Degree in social work, psychology, or related human services field required. Credentials: Provisionally Licensed in the State of practice required in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health counselor or other behavioral health related field. Work is reviewed for results obtained through reports, observation, performance evaluations and conferences. Responsibilities include leading and/or supervising a variety of enrichment and athletic activities, while ensuring the safety of an Orlando ASAS after-school and/or summer program and facility.· Assist in the coordination and supervision of activities and services offered at an Orlando ASAS program site. Assists with discipline at assigned Orlando ASAS site and confers with parents regarding activities offered, participant progress and discipline problems. Aides the teacher in enrichment activities at the Orlando ASAS site. Ensures fair play and sportsmanship to youth while supervising and coaching athletic activities and games at the Orlando ASAS site. Assists the Site Supervisor in the accurate and timely reporting of individual Orlando ASAS site staff and program scheduling, payroll, inventory, and youth attendance. Assist the Site Supervisor in ensuring proper implementation of Orlando ASAS policy and procedures in the areas of operations at the program site. Assist the Site Supervisor in ensuring the safety and security of Orlando ASAS program and facility. · Minimum Requirements: Must be a current high school senior (or entering senior year if applying over the summer) or higher; some experience in an organized educational, recreation or leisure services field working in various activities such as educational programs, youth sports, aquatics, cultural and therapeutic arts, health and fitness, community centers, etc. preferred.; or an equivalent combination of related training and experience. Applicant must possess a valid Florida driver's license or state ID. Applicant must be 17 or older. First Aid/CPR certified preferred. Certification by the Florida Recreation and Park Association desired, but not required. THIS IS A PART_TIME_POSITION WITH NO GUARANTEE OF A CERTAIN NUMBER OF HOURS AND NO BENEFITS. Job Purpose: - The AIMS Rehab Counselor I at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for providing comprehensive rehabilitation counseling services to individuals with mental health and substance abuse challenges. The primary goal is to support clients in achieving their personal recovery goals by developing individualized treatment plans, facilitating group and individual therapy sessions, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to rehabilitation. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct assessments to evaluate clients' needs, strengths, and goals. - Develop and implement personalized rehabilitation plans in collaboration with clients. - Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions to support clients in their recovery journey. - Monitor and document clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other counselors, to provide comprehensive care. - Provide crisis intervention and support as needed. - Educate clients and their families about mental health and substance abuse issues. - Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with organizational and legal standards. - Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in rehabilitation counseling. - Advocate for clients' needs and rights within the community and healthcare systems. Qualifications Required Education: - Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Rehabilitation Counseling, or a related field. Required Experience: - Minimum of 1 year of experience in a rehabilitation counseling setting or a similar therapeutic environment. - Experience working with individuals with mental health or substance abuse issues is preferred. - Familiarity with case management and treatment planning. Required Skills and Abilities: - Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams. - Ability to develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans. - Proficiency in maintaining detailed and accurate client records. - Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and interventions relevant to mental health and substance abuse. - Capability to assess client needs and progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. - Competence in crisis intervention and conflict resolution. - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. - Strong organizational and time management skills.
