Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Oldcastle APG Finance team. The FP&A Analyst will oversee the processes for budgeting, financial forecasting, business and financial performance analysis, and variance analysis. This position will report to the FP&A Manager and work closely with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders to help inform and influence critical business decisions. The ideal candidate is a hands-on self-starter with solid data analytics, business intelligence, budgeting & forecasting, financial analysis and reporting, financial modeling, and organizational communication skills.

Job Responsibilities
Build relationships and be a vital contributor to the regional FP&A team
Prepare, analyze, and report key financial and operating metrics. Identify trends, track progress, and make recommendations
Creating an analysis (through charts, graphs or other analytics) to provide a quick summary of what is happening with the business
Develop presentation materials for executive and leadership meetings
Own financial modeling process (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow), including budgeting and forecasting
Articulate “the story behind the numbers” based on sound analysis and a deep understanding of the business
Coordinate the weekly forecasting process (flash) and own the associated analytical and reporting deliverables
Responsible for management reporting of the company's financial performance, encompassing the analysis of results and the development of insightful commentary
Develop a solid understanding of manufacturing processes and production variances
Be a strong business partner to sales and operations and contribute to their efficacy via insightful analysis and reporting

Change Management
* Complete impact analysis on reports when changes are made to source systems or tables upstream

* Identify opportunities for data collaboration and integration between disciplines
* Coordinate alignment, as applicable, across other T&I groups
* Identify opportunities for AI/ML/Data Science efforts and work with those teams on project delivery

Training / Data Literacy
* Train end-users on how to use and interpret information/insights on deployed dashboards/reports

Data SME
* Operate as the Subject Matter Expert for the business across data availability, quality, processes, and technology
* Maintain understanding of our data pipeline architecture to be able to articulate why we use it and its benefits/limitations for end users
* Ensure source of truth system(s) are identified and operational
Qualifications
* Master's degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related, plus three (3) years of experience in the application of data to solve problems, or Bachelor's degree in one of the above plus five (5) years of experience.
* Experience with the construction industry, including knowledge of industry trends, terminology, and typical processes, is strongly preferred.
* Experience with self-perform teams, including running or managing a craft workforce, is strongly preferred.
* Experience with construction project controls, including Earned Value Management, productivity management, schedule management, and cost management, is strongly preferred.
* Passion for the use of data and business intelligence principles and their ability to optimize business outcomes.
* Proven track record of translating business pain points into data requirements and identifying and solving complex problems with data.
* Proven analytic skills, including data mining, evaluation, analysis, and visualization.

Role Responsibilities
Projects the Intern will assist with:
Working directly with clients to provide day to a primary point of contact for day to day account support, problem resolution, technical clarity, research and analysis
Responding to inbound emails, fax, and phone calls, and Salesforce cases
Developing and executing a client service delivery strategy for assigned clients around the needs, contracts specifications and cost components
Conducting regularly scheduled calls, presentations to review business performance, including training and education
Makings decisions regarding the set up and support of the clients assigned to their care and has the ability to approve financial fee and or transaction concessions
Preparing and presenting solutions in advance to retain relationships
Using customer feedback to monitor the status of service levels, identifies problems and revenue growth potential within the client base
Effectively interact with internal departments to support customer base
Trouble-shooting of client-raised servicing issues to determine if the issue is a system issue, training issue, or client configuration.
Qualifications & Skills
Majoring in: Finance, Economics, or related subject.
Proficiency in Excel
Exposure to relational databases.

The basics of this position:
Position provides technical expertise within the research department to produce specifications, documentation, and training in development and structure of the data warehouse, the business intelligence decision support system, and other technical solutions. Depending on the client engagement, the Epic Ambulatory Senior Analyst will be responsible for collaborating with Accenture team, software vendor team, and client in the following areas. This Role is for a Ambulatory Analyst role, supporting existing organizations with Incident management, enhancements, upgrades, development, work queue management, and normal application support.
