About This Role
Kansas State University's Aerospace and Technology Campus is seeking multiple part-time Certified Flight Instructors (CFI's) to join its growing team of aviation flight professionals! The Dean of the William Allen White School of Journalism and Mass Communications reports to and collaborates closely with the Chief Academic Officer/Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor of the Lawrence and Edwards campuses to advance excellence in education, research, and professional practice. The Dean will lead with a commitment to collaboration across the school's academic areas as well as with partners across the University and beyond. Key priorities include engaging faculty and staff in advancing the goals of Jayhawks Rising (the strategic plan for KU Lawrence and Edwards), and spearheading the school's fundraising efforts as part of the University's next campaign. The Dean will exemplify a lifelong commitment to learning, scholarship, and service, while inspiring and supporting the professional growth of others. The Dean must be committed to leading a culture that values the school's professional, scholarly, and academic dimensions.
The next Dean must be a strong advocate for continuing to build public trust in the media by leading outreach initiatives that engage communities, while ensuring students are prepared to uphold transparency, ethical standards, and innovative practices demonstrating the media's essential role in society. A vibrant research culture is essential to advancing knowledge, informing practice, and elevating the school's national and global reputation. They must deeply value and actively practice shared governance, serving as a visible and accessible presence within the school, across campus, and in engagement with community and industry partners. They will be expected to foster and maintain a collaborative and collegial culture that supports the school's academic mission and community.
The successful candidate will hold an earned terminal degree in a relevant field, with a distinguished record of teaching, research, and achievement warranting a tenured appointment at the rank of full professor in the school.

Purpose:
Undergraduate (UG) Residential Staff positions (Resident Assistant, Food Board Manager & Proctor) hold an academic year, salaried, live-in position with KU Housing & Residence Life and report to a Residence Life Staff member, while serving as the primary facilitator of a community of 25-90 residents in a specified area. UG Residential Staff serve as the primary educator and resource for residents within their assigned community and are responsible for engaging with residents, building community, and responding to crisis. UG Residential Staff serve as a part of a larger complex team and are responsible for supporting and responding to multiple physical buildings within the KU Housing & Residence Life community.

This posting is for a full academic year commitment as the start and end dates are not negotiable. Terms of appointment are continuous throughout the dates listed above, and inclusive of Housing & Residence Life operations and duty coverage over Fall Break, Thanksgiving Break, Winter Break, and Spring Break.
Commitment:
The UG Residential Staff position is an exempt salaried role with the State of Kansas and works 16 hours per week. UG Residential Staff are assigned duties which do not translate into specific hours worked per day or week. UG Residential Staff are required to perform regularly scheduled duties, attend meetings, and be available to residents and KU Housing & Residence Life staff.
Please note, per the State of Kansas, as a UG Residential Staff member you will not be able to continue or take on a new student hourly position effective Saturday, August 8, 2026. Your new employment as a UG Residential Staff member will begin Monday, August 10, 2026. There are certain entities affiliated/hold the KU name that do not apply to this new guideline. You could continue or take on new hourly roles via the following employers: Kansas Union, Kansas Athletics, Alumni, or Endowment as long as you are not on Federal Work Study. You can take on new jobs/roles with any off-campus employer.
All UG Residential Staff are expected to treat their UG Residential Staff appointment as a priority, ahead of other campus involvement. The position does not allow for involvement with academic practicum internships, or regular student teaching. All co-curricular involvement and employment must be approved by Residence Life Staff prior to beginning appointment. Additional involvement and employment will be limited to a maximum of 10 weekly hours.
All trainings, inclusive of August & January dates, is mandatory and essential in the success of UG Residential Staff. This is inclusive of opening, closing, and other departmental initiatives. Compensation:

KU Weight ManagementPosition Title:Clinical Research Medical Assistant - Internal Medicine (Weight Management) Job Family Group: Professional Staff Summary:The Clinical Research Medical Assistant in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Physical Activity & Weight Management, is responsible for ensuring efficient flow of participants by assisting with document management, protocol related clinical assessments of research participants, laboratory functions and assisting in tasks related to the operations of the research clinic.:
Job Responsibilities:
Assigned unit administrative support (inventory, scheduling).
Assist Principal Investigators, clinical researchers, and other staff with special procedures and examinations within competency requirements.
Plan, provide, and document professional medical assistant care for participants in accordance with study protocols, flow sheets, Good Clinical Practice, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), scope of practice and other state and local regulations as applicable.
Ensure data collected for completed procedures is recorded on appropriate forms and participant research records.
Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of examination rooms; stock assigned areas and monitor levels of supplies.
Check and complete required logs and equipment such as refrigerator logs, eyewash logs, and other required checks.
Perform phlebotomy and sample collection, lab processing, handling, and shipping as outlined in study protocols and within KUMC policy.
Perform vital signs, height, weight, blood pressure, ECG's and others.
Ensure all required consent forms are obtained prior to any research activities.
Assist with research participant recruitment.
Engage with customers in a professional manner ensuring that customers (participants, study teams, visitors, etc.) are satisfied with services provided.

Required Qualifications
Certification/Licensure:
Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or Nationally Certified Medical Assistant (NCRMA) certification.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Work Experience:
One year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
Phlebotomy experience.

The pay range listed for this position is determined by our compensation program using market data and salary benchmarking. Position Overview
The KU School of Business Business Professional Development Program provides early exposure to career concepts and enrichment opportunities to Business students. The Business Professional Development Program is hiring for student hourly positions to assist with the program.
Job duties may include (but are not limited to): gathering data and research, grading homework assignments and exams, recording attendance, reaching out to, and meeting with students, and other duties as assigned.

Washing dishes and bins, doing laundry, putting away clean dishes and bins once they are dry.

Refill pipette tip boxes, eppy boxes etc. and autoclave them.
Inventory of media, reagents, chemicals etc.
