This position is based out of our Austell, Georgia office and services the west side of Atlanta/Georgia. Works with a crew to build, install, and repair overhead telecom lines. Helps set up job sites, move materials, operate tools, and assist linemen with aerial work. This is a hands-on role for someone who can work outdoors, follow directions, and stay safe on the job. Key Responsibilities Help install and repair aerial fiber optic and coaxial cables on poles. Carry, load, and unload tools, equipment, and materials. Set up and take down work zones, including safety cones, signs, and barricades. Operate basic hand tools and small equipment under foreman direction. Assist from the ground or bucket truck with pulling, lashing, and securing cables. Keep the work area clean, remove debris, and store unused materials properly. Wear PPE and follow all safety rules. Check and maintain tools, trucks, and equipment daily. Listen to instructions from the foreman or lineman and work as part of the crew. Perform other duties as needed to support aerial construction work. Preferred Qualifications Experience in construction, utilities, or telecom. Comfortable working outdoors in all weather and at heights. Able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work on uneven ground. Familiar with power tools and rigging equipment is a plus. Willing to travel to job sites and work flexible hours, including overtime. Valid driver's license required; CDL is a plus or willingness to obtain. Must pass drug and background checks.
