This Android Software Engineer role will join a team providing new functionality, enhancements and maintenance for a newer Android application. This application is used to assess the quality of product delivered to a distribution center. The Android Software Engineer is responsible for collaborating with Product Management, Product Design, Lead Android Developer, and Quality Engineering to deliver a high-quality solution. Minimum Position Qualifications: 3+ years of professional Android application development experience using Kotlin. Proficiency with Android SDK, Jetpack libraries, MVVM architecture, and modern mobile frameworks. Solid experience integrating RESTful APIs, managing JSON data, and third-party libraries/services. Understanding of mobile security best practices and optimization techniques. Experience with optimizing mobile apps, in Java and Kotlin. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. Ability to interact well in a team environment. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, GitHub Saas.
