The Sexual Predator Treatment Program (SPTP) at Larned State Hospital was established by a 1994 statute that provides for the civil commitment of persons identified as Sexually Violent Predators (SVP). SPTP is charged with maintaining a secure environment in which individuals identified as SVPs can reside and be offered treatment with the aim of reducing their risk of re-offending. Ultimately, the goal of SPTP is to return SVPs to the community where they can function as contributing, productive citizens with no further victims.

Shift: Days/overnights 36s/48s rotating The Psychiatric/Mental Health (PMH) Registered Nurse,requires a wide range of nursing, psychosocial, and neurobiological expertise.PMH nurses promote well-being through prevention and education, in addition tothe assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and substance usedisorders. The nurse demonstratesability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner anddemonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination ofpatient care. The PMH RN works in avariety of settings and provides comprehensive care to individuals, families,and communities when applicable.
Minimum Requirements:
Current Registered Nurse Licensure in-state practicing
Current CPR if applicable
TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age

Summary: Participate in general yard maintenance and repair. May operate various pieces of heavy equipment to level, shape, and/or distribute dirt and other materials inside and outside feed yard pens.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities may include the following: Other duties may be assigned.
Operate and maintain heavy equipment.
Pull and/or relocate fencing, and install new pen fencing.
Drain and clean water tanks.
Set out and/or apply insecticides or pesticides under the direction of licensed private applicator.
Clean and repair feed bunks (may require heavy equipment training).
Dig trenches; install water lines
Perform hot works (welding/fabrication).
Perform sprinkler and dewatering system operation and maintenance.
Perform farm maintenance including windmills.
Operate cement plant.
Remove dead animals from pen to designated area.
Perform electrical maintenance.
Maintain general yard and building housekeeping.
Comply with all OSHA/Safety procedures, rules, and regulations.
