Summary:
A Stepdown Registered Nurse provides care to patients who are transitioning from intensive care to medical-surgical or general inpatient units. Job Responsibilities:
Receiving screenings and triaging fit for confinement
Nurse sick calls
Passing & Administering medications
Assisting the physician and nurse practitioner
Responds to medical emergencies
Take vital signs
Provide treatments to include:
Wound Care
Blood Sugar checks
Administer insulin
Nebulizer treatments
Documents all encounters using a SOAP format in state of the art EMR
Job Requirements:
Active and unrestricted PN license in the state of FL
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environment
Full Time Night Shift 36 hours/week
