Warehouse & Logistics Specialist (WMS & Cold Chain) Department: Operations / Supply Chain Reports to: Operations Manager About the Role You will own day-to-day warehouse operations-receiving, put-away, pick/pack/ship (domestic & international), cycle counts, and WMS transactions-while safeguarding inventory accuracy and supporting cold-chain shipments. Key Responsibilities
Receive inbound goods; inspect, label, and put away; maintain clean, organized stock areas.
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for domestic and international shipments; generate documents, schedule pickups.
Handle temperature-sensitive materials (dry ice, gel packs); follow cold-chain packaging SOPs and safety.
Execute WMS transactions (receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments); ensure real-time data accuracy.
Perform cycle counts and periodic physical inventories; reconcile variances and drive root-cause actions.
Coordinate with Customer Service for accurate, timely order fulfillment and status updates.
Liaise with vendors/carriers on deliveries, pickups, claims, and supplies.
Support Marketing event/conference shipments: kitting, labeling, return logistics.
Use Excel (vlookup/pivot/basic formulas) to track KPIs (fill rate, OTIF, inventory accuracy).
Apply basic coding/scripting (e.g., Excel VBA / Python / SQL) to streamline routine reports or label/file tasks.
Comply with EHS, hazmat, and internal SOPs; maintain 5S and safety standards.
Work closely with Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, QC and CMC Development to align with drug product supply plans and company goals.
Direct GMP material demand forecasting and resolution processes.
Ensure all material management activities, from receiving to distribution, comply with GMP and FDA regulations.
Oversee inventory levels, maintain accurate lot and batch tracking, and manage inventory systems using methods like labeling, FIFO, and reorder triggers.
Assist Quality Assurance in release and approval of GMP materials.
Maintain comprehensive records of material movements, conduct audits to ensure compliance, and oversee relevant quality documentation systems.
Ensuring timely and accurate kitting for production.
Qualifications
Must-Have
1-2 years in GMP inventory/warehouse operations with WMS or inventory software experience.
Solid Excel skills (sorting/filtering, vlookup/xlookup, pivots, basic formulas).
Basic coding ability (any of: Excel VBA, Python, or SQL) to automate simple tasks.

Position Description
The Associate Logistics Operations will pick, pack and ship orders based on shipping schedules. This will include handling temperature sensitive materials.
This position is located in Frederick, MD.
The working hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6:30pm. Shift differential is included.
Responsibilities and Duties:
* Responsible for following the procedures to accurately pick and pack orders.
* For short periods of time the Associate will need to enter the -20c and the 5c environments to retrieve materials required for shipping.
* Shipping will be completed using SAP.
* Complete shipping documents for International shipments.
* Use of a manual pallet jack is required.
* Maintain the work area (i.e. restock shipping materials, keep the area clean and neat).
* Assist in loading truck at the end of the day.
