Responsibilities
Advance strategic, integrated marketing communications campaign efforts for a high-growth strategic business unit and/or corporate communications programs on behalf of the department. The senior specialist will manage strategic initiatives, coaching junior staff, and supporting department leadership to advance M.C. Dean's marketing maturity both within the department and with operational stakeholders.
The marketing and communications department operates in a highly-collaborative structure that requires each of us to support other members of the team responsible for driving high-priority initiatives. The senior specialist will be regularly called upon to lead key programs and initiatives as well as support projects led by other members of the team.
**Corporate Marketing & Sales Enablement:**
+ **Integrated Marketing Campaigns:** Work with the vice president to formulate and implement market-specific, omni-channel (earned, owned, shared and paid) marketing and communications campaigns. The specialist will lead several assigned 'beats' and will support one or more campaigns each year working closely with operational leaders and subject matter experts.
+ **Marketing Events and Promotions (Virtual and In-Person)** : Plan, manage and develop annual conferences, events, and award submissions and department calendars. Lead client-focused marketing and corporate communications activities through the development of print, digital and multimedia marketing toolkit materials and management of virtual and in-person client-, employee- and recruiting-focused tradeshows and events.
+ **Sales Integration and Marketing Platform Enhancements** : Support development and launch of new website, CRM, and social media integrations and enhancements to advance direct client marketing efforts. Participate in and facilitate functional cross-training initiatives to share successes and best practices across the marketing and communications function and with operational stakeholders.
**Branding & Corporate Communications:**
+ **Branding** : Provide brand stewardship through all marketing and communications activities. Support brand consistency, training and resource development for the upcoming brand refresh and roll out across web, social and internal communications platforms.
+ **Editorial** : Prepare communications and collateral for internal and external audiences. Work with internal stakeholders to write news stories, marketing collateral, presentations, video scripts and displays. The specialist will support quality control and editing of internal and external news stories, as well as print and digital content.
+ **Change Management** : Lead change communications campaigns, including message development, employee engagement, and promotional launches for priority human resources, information technology, and safety initiatives.
**Research & Reporting:**
+ **Marketing Intelligence Support** : Support department market intelligence, competitive analysis and market segmentation research and reporting efforts.
+ **Department Reporting:** Work with the marketing and communications leadership to establish campaign metrics. Gather quantitative and qualitative data to obtain feedback on marketing and communications activities and strategies. Present findings and make recommendations for further action. Provide input for weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
Qualifications
+ Applicants selected must have minimum 6+ years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications; Masters preferred with marketing and communications experience
+ Previous experience consulting for a professional services, technology or AEC firm
+ Familiarity with U.S. federal contracting

Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level that includes:
Detaining suspected violators of federal, state, or local laws and/or arresting violators using the proper law enforcement methods.
Enforcing the laws and regulations relating to importing, exporting, and/or international shipping to and from the United States.
Utilizing intelligence techniques and behavior analysis to identify potential threats and perform risk assessments for violations of laws and threats to national security.
