MachineOperators will be cross trained on multiple machines and responsible for setting up and operating assigned machine to prepare automobile parts throughout the process.
Position Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Conduct visual inspection specific to each machine prior to starting shift and periodically throughout each shift
Follow the production schedule set by Production Manager
Contribute to the production of quality product by following all defined quality procedures
Monitor the process to ensure proper equipment operation and output
Notify supervisor and maintenance of any equipment issues
Assist with troubleshooting when needed
Maintain Safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
Effectively and safely operate a variety of assigned tools and equipment including a band saw, drill press, lathe and tensile tester.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands to manipulate, handle and feel objects, tools or controls. The employee is required to reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, and crouch. The employee must be able to speak and hear and must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required for this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to auto focus.
Must be able to work through climate changes, extreme heat and cold temperatures
Minimum Qualifications:
Education / Work Experience
High school diploma or a G.E.D. is preferred
Previous experience working with machinery in a manufacturing environment is preferred
Familiarity with Lock-out/tag-out procedures is preferred
