Essential Duties & Responsibilities: * Must be mechanically inclined * Machine parts as necessary to meet production standards. * Must be able to use basic inspection equipment such as calipers, mics, torque wrenches and various gauges and other tools. * Perform source inspection using traveling check sheet on every unit
* Perform daily TPM
* Uses stop the line authority at any sign of safety or quality concerns
* Performs daily duties per work instructions / standard work
* Completes all daily data collection as established
* Must perform daily 5S activities
Qualifications / Training / Skill Requirements:
* Must be able to read blueprints
* Must have good understanding of inventory control
* Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
* Must have or be able to obtain a fork truck license
* Must recognize the importance of working in a safe manner
* Ability to understand what constitutes quality products
* Possess basic math skills
* Average or above average skills in numeric and visual recall
* Must be computer literate
Education Requirements:
* High school diploma or GED
Experience Requirements
* Machining experience is preferred
Physical Demands:
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
* Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to work in sometimes extreme temperatures
