The Miscellaneous Laborer (ML) is responsible for performing routine housekeeping and cleaning throughout Southern Minnesota Beet Sugar Cooperative. These responsibilities include but are not limited to: shoveling, sweeping, and vacuuming floors; pressure washing screens; re-melting sugar; removing garbage and other forms of manual labor to benefit safe, efficient operations. The ML is required to work in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments, cross-train and perform work in station positions, and assist in tasks such as beet and sugar clean up.
Individuals working as a ML must be able to perform duties utilizing the following equipment: shovels, squeegees, water hoses, poke rods, brooms, wheelbarrows, forklifts and skid loaders.
